      Very helpful

A gorgeous blusher but unfortunately has a hefty price tag.

I was looking for a new blusher with a more lighter shade for spring, and when I saw this on The Body Shop website I decided to give this one a go, just just because it looks very pretty!

A couple of months ago The Body Shop launched the Roseflower Make-Up Collection. In this collection you will find some pretty and colourful spring shades in nice pastel colours. They have a couple of eyeshadows, a few lipsticks, a radiance stick, a new shimmer cube (a quad of 4 shimmery eyeshadows) and of course, the 2 blushers pictured above.

The blusher that was currently in my make-up bag resembled a more darker pink colour, so I decided to give a nice pale pink shade a try. The shade name is simply 'shade 01: pink.' The Body Shop describe it as a 'rose scented cheek colour, that adds warmth to cheeks.' The blusher itself has a lovely rose design embossed on it, and the plastic case it comes in has a lovely white rose outline on the front (not a dark pink rose design like the pictures above!) The case is plastic but it certainly doesn't feel cheap, and it closes with a reassuring snap. You don't get a brush with the blusher, but it's very easy to find a blusher brush, The Body Shop even make one themelves.

I'm very pleased with the nice girly pink shade of this blusher. The rose design embossed on the blusher is a slightly darker pink, and you can see a lovely shimmer to the whole of the blusher. This blusher has a scent, something which is new to me as my previous blusher certainly didn't have a scent. It smells exactly like roses, but unfortunately one this blusher is applied you can't smell it at all, as you only apply so little of it. Even so, it's a nice little touch.

Applying ths blusher is easily, simply sweep your blusher brush across it and tap off the excess. Apply to the apply of your cheeks after applying your foundation to give your cheeks a lovely instant warmth. The blusher is a lovely pale pink colour on my cheeks but not too strong, nice and subtle. It has a lovely shimmer/slightly glittery look to it which again isn't extremely noticeable, it's just right.

The blusher lasts quite a while, however as the day goes on I notice it less and less, but this is often the case with any blusher for me. Luckily the blusher is nice and compact to carry around in your bag incase you feel the need to 'top up.'

This blusher is currently available on The Body Shop website and in their stores and costs £14. This is very steep, I got mine for cheaper when they had a 20% off all make-up promotion running, and also got cashback when ordering on the website. You get 7g of blusher and I can tell it's going to last me a while. I've been using it for well over a month now, almost daily, and the rose design is still boldly embossed into the blusher, and it isn't noticeable that any blusher has been used really!

I don't think I would have bought this for £14, but it is a lovely blusher in 2 gorgeous spring shades.
