... lifts them up. It is smudge resistent which is a must fr mascara as well because you need to make sure you have make up you can trust as you never know what your day is going to be like! Its £9.75 in store so it is a little more pricey than most high street makes but with Body shop not only are you paying for top quality but you are also paying for their company values and paying to support the causes that the company invests in. I would reommend this mascra if you have shorter lashes as I do or if you are lookig for ...more

Premium Review The Body Shop Super Volume Mascara: Super Natural Mascara (472 words)

The Body Shop Super Volume Mascara is a smudge-resistant, clump-free formula with a specially designed brush and pure coated pigment for long-lasting volume. It comes in either black or brown, and can be bought from the Body Shop stores or their website, for £9. I love the Body Shop because they don't test on animals and their products are usually of a really high quality, but there isn't one where I live so I usually buy from their website. The formula contains moisturising community trade marula oil and beeswax, and lash conditioning glycerine so it's good for your eyelashes as well as just looking good, which is always nice to know It comes in a ...  Read the complete review

When it comes to buying mascara, I am an absolute tart - meaning that I have no brand loyalty whatsoever. After 17 years of buying the product, I am yet to find the "perfect" mascara, so when I find myself in need of a new one, I'll buy whatever is on offer, or in this recent purchases case, whatever I have a voucher for. The body Shop currently have six mascaras in their range, but my choice was cut down to two as I didn't want waterproof or sparkle and I wanted to stay under the £10 mark. As I have fairly long lashes already, I passed on the Define and lengthen (for fear of looking like a panto dame!) and I decided to go for the super ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review The Body Shop Super Volume Mascara: Managed to impress me after an initial let down. (450 words)

I bought this mascara looking for a ridiculously volumising mascara to complement my vampy liquid eyeliner, looking for big lash without false eyelashes. To be blunt, I was very disappointed. This product will not make your lashes look like a showgirl, the name of the product is highly misleading. So why the 4 stars? After recovering from my initial disappointment, I discovered that this mascara is actually one of the best I've ever used. So much so in fact, that if it was named "natural volume mascara" it would be getting 5 stars here instead of 4. I should point out that I've only used the black mascara, there is also brown and ...  Read the complete review

I have tried so many mascaras it isn't even funny. There was a time not so long ago when I wanted a mascara that would make my lashes super doper long and fake looking for when I went out and that would tone down that look a little for during the day. I found that mascara, Bourjois, Coup De Theatre. Now I am slightly more natural with my look but still expect a lot from my mascara. I want my lashes to be clump free and well defined, I want length and I also want it to last. Almost a year ago I bought some odds and ends through The Body Shops website and because I had spent over a certain amount I could buy a makeup bag containing a few items for £5.00. I ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review The Body Shop Super Volume Mascara: Super rubbish (261 words)

Price: £9.75 From: The Body Shop For: Lasting volume for lashes The packaging is quite nice, but it looks quite cheap compared to most Body Shop products. The tube is the usual size for a mascara, and it has a twist-off lid with the brush attached to the inside of the lid. The brush is horrible. It's the usual old-fashioned bristle brushes with the bristles arranged in a spiral pattern. The spiral is very widely spread and the bristles are not densely packed. The mascara therefore tends to clump in certain places on the brush rather than coating it evenly. Applying it is easy enough and it does go on quite smoothly, but the ...  Read the complete review
