... I had a £5 voucher I obtained from In Style magazine, and found this mascara in a local BS store with 50% off, so it was now £5 instead of £10. I exchanged the voucher for this mascara and decided to give it a go. Naturally I decided to test it out before going on holiday to make sure it worked!

I was about to go on holiday to Portugal, my first ever beach holiday, and was wondering if I should get some waterproof mascara. I know wearing makeup to the beach or by the pool is probably a bit silly, but my natural eyelashes are very pale, and considering I dye my hair dark brown, I can look a bit silly without a coat of mascara! The waterproof stuff isn't something I usually buy, so I wasn't sure where to start. Graygirl wrote an excellent review of Lancome Hypnose Waterproof Mascara, and having tried the original Lancome mascara I had intended to try this.
