The Too Faced eyeshadow base, First Base, is a creamy, iridescent base which comes in a container of 2.5g. The colour of the base is a yellowy gold and is packed with fine shimmery particles. To apply the base you rub a bit on your finger and dab it onto the eyelids. I like to apply mine right up to the brow bone, as it works really well as a highlighter and really makes a feature of your eyes without being too obvious. What i really love about this product is that it can be worn alone, for a subtle, bright look, or it can be used as a base! For the longest time now I've been a devoted fan of Benefit's Lemon Aid. I have always claimed though, that whilst I love it, part of the attraction was that I knew of no other products like it elsewhere on the market, yet if I was to see something similar for a cheaper price, I would be very excited to try it.
