Before I start this review I want to say that I have never tried any other 'lip plumping' products. So this review is entirely based on my experience with Too faced Lip injection.
I'm still not entirely sure why I bought this item as it's not normally something that I would look twice at. But on a trip to boots while browsing through the other too faced products I decided to give this a go.
Now it's not a cheap product but as a fan of the too faced range I was not surprised by the £14.50 price tag.
Once applied to the lips it stings, it really stings! But hey this is what it's designed to do right? And it a sign that something is definitely working. The gloss itself is very thick and sticky but once you've waited for the stinging to calm down the gloss will have reduced to a nice layer covering your lips with good glossy shine.
Looking in the mirror I can instantly admit the pain was worth it. My lips are plumper and fuller than before, especially my top lip which has always been thinner than the bottom one. This effect lasts for a good 3 hours, long after the gloss itself has worn off.
The only downside is you have to be very careful when applying the gloss, make sure to only apply to your lips. If any gets onto the skin around your mouth it will still work its magic leaving you with unattractive red skin.
My friend had this and seemed to swear by it, so i thought i would give it a go, went to boots, and somewhat unwilling handed over the £12 for the product.....£12 seemed a lot for something i doubted made any difference, but i though i would give it a go. This product comes in 4 different colours, techno kiss, techno buff, techno tart and just clear, first i decided to just get the clear one, but later on i also tried in techno buff. Offering in these 3 colours or just clear made me feel like there was sufficient variety, at least one of the colours will suit any one, and if your not interested in colour and just want fuller looking lips, clear is a good option.
I found that it was easy to apply, the brush was small so you can be pretty accurate with where on your lips you put this, which is definitely a good thing, since getting it on your skin will hurt, and will leave it looking a small amount red for a little while, but nothing too extreme. After about 5 seconds it begins to tingle, and slowly seems to feel more painful, however it is not to much, and when you go look in the mirror you will notice that your lips do indeed seem to be slightly bigger, as if they have become swollen from the stinging sensation on your lips. I found it to be a tad sticky, but i liked this as it made it seem as if it would stay on my lips for a fair amount of time. You will not need to reapply this too often, once every couple of hours i found to be sufficient, which is good since you hardly want to be worrying about having to carefully reapply lip gloss every few minutes when your out- which brings me to the point that you should be careful putting this on while drunk! i have already mentioned if you get it on your skin, pain and redness will follow, which isnt a good look.
The colour ones seemed slightly less sticky, and they do not appear as bright on the lips as they look in the tube. They have a small amount of glitter in, which makes your lips look super shiny, even more so than the clear gloss. I found the colour ones needed to be re- applied slightly more often, but for me this seemed worth it since the colours really are lovely. I found that this definitely does make some difference, and this difference is worth the slight pain, but im not completely convinced its worth the £12, i think if it did just a bit more than the £12 would seem very reasonable, but i was pleasantly surprised by this product, as i have already mentioned i was very sceptical. I have recently discovered they do this in different strengths, and so i am now keen to try one of the stronger ones, which are more expensive, but if i can find a lip gloss i love, the price will not bother me to much.
Too faced is one of the younger beauty brands on the market that has made it big. A mere baby compared with the likes of Bourjois, it all began in 1998. Too Faced Cosmetics is known for being trendy, innovative and lots of fun with unique products and packaging with fabulous names. The brand's philosophy shows that it wants you to stand out by stating, Why be pretty when you can be gorgeous?
One of their best selling products is the Too Faced Lip injection which is a lip plumping product. It aims to give you the long lasting fullness of a cosmetic treatment but without the needle. The award winning lip pumper is loved by celebrities and make up artists, as well as the everyday consumer. It has achieved global recognition and is cherished for its results.
The product come in a cuboid shaped clear tube with a black lid. The colour in the bottle has a pink tinge, however it is sold as being clear and it is actually clear once on the lips. It makes lip look naturally enhanced and it smells great too. The brush used to apply the product can be found inside the lid. It costs around £12, making it one of the middle priced lip plumpers on the market. It is available from large department stores such as Boots and is available from many online websites.
So how does this lip plumper work its magic? Too faced claim that they have produced an exclusive formula which is packed full of unique energizing and blood flow stimulating properties. It also contains a derivative of Vitamin E, which is a natural way to enhance the blood circulation instead of some products which use chemicals. Once applied to the lips, it will create a sexy pout and you can say goodbye to puny lifeless lips for four whole hours.
In order to use the product, you must apply a thin coat of the product directly onto clean lips using the applicator brush and leave it for five minutes. If you want the plumped lip look but not a glossy finish, after the five minutes are up, you can carefully wipe the product off and your lips will remain plump. It you want some colour, then you can apply your usual lipstick or gloss on top. After five minutes, your lips should look 20% fuller and deeper in colour.
During the five minutes, you will experience an intense tingling on your lips. Some people have described it as painful but I would say it was more uncomfortable. After a while the feeling subsides and you are left with incredible plumped up lips. After all, no pain, no gain! Be very careful when applying the product because if you get it on the skin, it does hurt and your skin will go red for a while. It's best not to apply this one after you've had a few drinks!
All in all, this lip plumper is the best that I have tried and I have tried a lot. Benefits lip plumper does not come close to this. It is long lasting and can be easily carried around in your hand bag to reapplied as needed. You won't be disappointed in this product, you'll just have to get used to the tingle!
Mineral Oil (Paraffinum Liquidum), Ethylene, Propylene, Styrene Copolymer, Butylenes, Jojoba (Buxus Chinensis) Oil, Ethylhexyl Palmitate, Tribehenin, Sorbilol, Isostearate, Palmitoyl, Oligopeptide, Tocopheryl Acetate, Benzylncotinate, Capsicum Chinense Extract, Propylparaben, Flavor/Parfum, May Contain: Mica, Red 33/Rouge 33, Red 7 Lake/Rouge 7, Yellow 5 Lake (Cl 19140), Iron Oxides (CI 77491, 77492, 77499)
My sister recently passed on a couple of items of make up that she had received for her birthday but couldn't use as she has very reactive eczema. Amongst these bits and pieces were a couple of too faced lip injection technocolour glosses in Techno Buff £6.30 and Techno Tart £6.99 at Amazon at the moment - some colours are as cheap as £3.99 there so it pays to shop around with this as these are currently selling for about £12.50 in Boots. The tube is a little smaller than a standard lipgloss containing only 4.5ml of product. Lip injection was originally a clear gloss and is still available in this format.
The claim is that this product can plump your lips by up to 30% (on the too faced website, but says up to 20% on the Boots one) with effects lasting up to 4 hours.
My lips are fairly full already, but as full pouty lips seem to be very popular then I was happy to try these glosses in the spirit of 'more is more'. You need to apply this product to bare lips as if there is any lip balm or other lip colour/gloss on the skin it creates a barrier and the irritating/plumping ingredients are not in proper contact with the skin and wont do their job.
The smell and taste of this gloss is very pleasant, subtly sweet without being sickly, also as they taste fairly pleasant it might be worth noting that should you lick your lips your tongue won't swell up and suffocate you, not even a tingle.
After application I can literally feel my lips swell, and I noticed a difference in their fullness pretty much straight away, but for some the full effect can take several minutes. There is a strong 'burning' tingling sensation which isn't entirely pleasant but not bad enough to want to take it off. For me this sensation wore off fairly quickly, and unfortunately the plumping effect wore off almost as quickly. My lips are obviously not too bothered about irritants and once the initial burning subsided they gave up reacting and deflated quite quickly. Lip Injection won't give you Angelina Jolie lips if your lips are quite slim but it really does make a visible difference, which is not down to the optical illusion of fullness that gloss can give. I have used lip plumping products before (more cast offs from my sister) but none of those others have had any effect.
A more dramatic plumping is claimed if you exfoliate your lips first, giving a fresh base for the ingredients to aggravate, also the act of exfoliation in itself will get the blood flowing to your lips, giving a head start in the plumping stakes. However if you are quite sensitive to the tingling sensation these products give exfoliating might be a bad idea, as your lips will already be slightly tender before you apply.
I've included a list of ingredients (lifted directly from the Too Faced website) at the end of the review; I notice one irritant ingredient amongst them 'capsicum' which is the genus of plants which give us chilli peppers, and I know how irritating that can be.. my poor poor eyes. Scientists amongst you like Goosey might recognise others.
I thought I'd try a list of positive and negatives, so here goes.
The colours though relatively limited in range are very pretty and flattering; the sparkle is very subtle and doesn't look like chunks of glitter floating in gloop.
The plumping effect works very well, the best of any similar product I've tried.
A reasonable price if you can find it online, for an effective product that does more than just colour and gloss.
The tingling sensation is not too strong for me, I actually quite like it, some may find it harsher than others.
A big positive is that Too Faced are cruelty free and don't test on animals.
Some people find the tingle more of a burn and be unable to stand the sensation, which is a bit of a problem as it is not easy to get this stuff off. If you rub it off with your hand your hand may get red though it shouldn't burn. Your lips will still tingle and burn a little for a short time even after removal. The best way to remove this gloss quickly is to use some kind of emollient, or oil, such as Vaseline or lip balm, and some elbow grease. You will probably need to apply some thing soothing and moisturising straight after if you have a strong a reaction to the product.
The plumping effect wears off quickly for me (within and hour long before the possible four stated in the product information) and long before the gloss disappears, so to keep your lips plumped you would have to keep re-applying when you don't really need to.
This is the stickiest lip gloss I have ever come across. If my hair blows onto my lips while wearing this it's not coming off without a fight.
The colour in the tubes is very pretty and looks lovely on the lips. However the blood rush to the lips which is what giver the plumping effect spoils the colour as initially applied. The red rosy look swamps the translucent gloss and changes the effect. It looks nice with the clear gloss, but spoils the technocolour varieties.
The gloss isn't very moisturising, and combined with the irritating ingredients which cause the 'plump' it can leave lips feeling dry.
You have to be careful when reinserting the brush into the tube as the fit is quite tight, and some of the side bristles can start to stick out. This would not be much of a problem normally but it leads on to the next slight negative.
You need to be very accurate when applying this gloss, any sticky out bristles that deposit gloss outside your lip line are going to leave you looking very silly. As the irritants work on normal skin as well as the lips, they will make that skin very obviously red too, and you could end up looking as if you've applied red lip liner in the dark with your feet.
If you should kiss someone too soon after applying this - apart from needing a crowbar to remove your lips from them (...because of the sticky gloss...) they will get plumped and inflamed too....I'm not sure if that's a good or a bad thing, they'll certainly remember you.
I think it's quite expensive at the high street price of £12.50 for a smaller than average tube, but on a par with other mid range glosses such as Bobbi Brown at £14 ish.
I noticed a warning on the too faced web site that your skin can become 'used' to the irritants in this product if you use it a lot, and the plumping effect won't work as well or at all. I think this can be mitigated though if you lay off it for a while.
Although the negatives list appears quite long I don't believe they outweigh the positives. I would say that this product is very good, as it does precisely what it's meant to very effectively. If you are most concerned about the plumping effect than the fact that the colour doesn't stay true, and it has the sticking power some glues would be jealous of then this is very well worth giving a try.

I absolutely love this product! Great way to start a review hey? :D
I have tried lip plumping lipsticks and glosses before, heck I've even liked them, but I think this has to be the best I've tried yet! I usually apply it after a lipstick as I'm a bit of a dark lip-aholic, but even over a lipstick this thing works wonders!
The effect is super glossy and almost straight away you can feel the tingling on the lips and see a noticable difference, my boyfriend actually said it looked like I had had collagen the first time I applied it, now I wouldn't go that far (I think he was trying to insult me actually, silly boys don't understand haha :D) but I can definitely see a significant plumping to the pout with this magic stuff!
The packaging is again super cute, love the too faced style as I have said before, the lip gloss itself is quite small but a little goes a long way so don't be put off by that and at around £8-9 it's not too badly priced for a lip plumping gloss, especially not of this quality.
The tingling itself isn't sore or anything too so don't be put off by that either. :)
A great product which does what it says on the tin without the pain. :)
When I first bought this lipgloss, I wasn't too happy with it. I had paid £11 for it on ASOS.com and it didn't do much to my lips! I was then told by a friend that I should exfoliate my lips to help the lipgloss actually work.. Yes, this baffled me too! Exfoliate lips? But yes, I did it and now I absolutely love it!
It comes in a pretty clear tube that comes with a lipgloss wand attached to the handle that twists out of the top of the tube. You get 4.5g of lipgloss for your £11 and it does last a long time. It doesn't have to be reapplied every 2 minutes so that helps too. I probably apply it twice a day at a maximum.
It contains Vitamin E within the 'innovative formula' and this allows better circulation to the lips - thus creating a pout to be proud of. It doesn't make your lips sticky, so your hair stays safe if it's windy.. And it only feels tingly for a few minutes when you first apply it and it isn't uncomfortable, so that's a plus.
As the lipgloss is clear, you don't have to worry about not suiting it as it just simply accentuates your own natural lip colour! It is much like vaseline, yet so much more. It plumps up my pout for the whole day.
I'm not sure where else you can get it from apart from online, as I haven't seen it in Superdrug or anywhere like that. That is probably the only drawback, but seeing as it lasts a while - you can just order it online every few months :)
This is a review of a lipgloss called 'Lip injection' by the brand Too Faced. I bought a set of three mini lipglosses last Christmas from Boots. Individually, the clear lip gloss (pictured) retails at approximately £12 for a single tube, so when I saw the set for around £20 I opted to buy that one.
The tubes have a picture of a syringe on the tube which you may think is strange but I suppose the advent of botox makes this something which is sought after. At least this lipgloss is a non clinical way of achieving a better pout
The mini set came with three sparkly coloured lip glosses and the pinky clear version. My friend and I had tried the clear one in the shop and loved the prickly spikey feeling it gives your lips. It makes them feel like they are fizzing for a few minutes - some say this sensation hurts them - but I didn't mind it. Apparently it does something to your circulation and makes the blood come to the surace of the lips.
The overall effect of lip injection being to give you a better pout. I'm not sure if this happened, to be honest I've got a decent pout to start off with (especially when I'm sulking about something!) but it certainly made my lips look nice.
I actually prefered the sparkly coloured pinky lipgloss to the clear one but you get the same prickly effect with both. I found the clear version to be more stickly and seemed to be forever wiping the tube and cleaning it when it was in my make up bag.
For the money, this brand is very expensive and there are now many more products on the market that have the same 'plumping' effect. Soap and Glory are my favourite brand now in this type of product called mother plucker which comes in a lovely colour and has the sparkle in it that I like.
The sensation or final look of the lipgloss sadly is not permanent, as with all these products it wears off after a while but there is no limit to the amount of times you can reapply.
I wonder how many blokes kissed their girlfriends wearing this and then wondered why they got a bee stung effect too??
I got this as a xmas present last year and i totally love it!
It retails for about £10 which is quite expensive for how small it is but its worth it because of what it does.
It claims to have a similar effect to that of getting lip plumping injections and that it makes your lips look a bit bigger after continued use. It has a really nice sweet strawberry smell and its the glossiest lipgloss that iv ever used before!
It lasts for a good few hours after application and my lips did feel like they were getting bigger because of the strong tingiling effect it has. Its quite a strong sensation though and took quite a while to get used to being so overpowering but its certinely worth it.
Id recommed this as its probably the best lipgloss iv ever used. The only bad point is that you have to be quite careful how you put the brush back in as it goes all weird if the bristles get separated.
I love lip glosses, I have 100's floating about, I once had 7 lip glosses in my bag at one time which got taken off me in an airport!!
I always take a look at Too Faced when I am out shopping for makeup, I love the quirky, retro packaging. And you can always find something alittle different.
I had heard about Too Faced lip Injection so on impulse I thought I would give it a go.
I purchased the Original clear gloss, they have since released in a range of colours and strengths!
The lip gloss itself is fairly small (4.5g tube) compared to other lip glosses you can buy, but it does have added character with the lip plumping technology!! It cost £10, which is average for a gloss.
The liquid has a scary purple tint to it, it looks quite surgical.
I applied it to my lips and after a few moments my lips started to tingle, which I was quite happy with, as it must be working. It was certainly stimulating my lips. It was like needle pricks on your lips.
I was quite happy with the results. I didn't feel like my lips were plumper, but they were a throbbing bright red colour, my lips were more noticeable, the effect lasted for a few hours.
I tried it on my two sisters, on one sister you noticed a huge difference in her lips, they were noticeably bigger and brighter, the gloss had the same effect on my other sister, no plumping but a lovely throbbing colour.
For what the product is offering, I do think it is reasonably priced and works to a certain extent. I have since purchased another but a coloured gloss and both of my sisters have made a purchase. So not bad at all!!
I like the big lips look - not super inflated like a couple of sausages stuck to your lips but a nice bee stung look. And definitely NOT the trout pout.
I know you can never say never, but at this stage I honestly don't think I could ever go under the knife or even have botox / collagen injections - I'm far too scared and not to mention its out of my price range.
So I do like to try out the lip plumping glosses on the market. So far I have tried and reviewed Transformulas (good but can't buy in shops) and Bliss Poutrageous (also good but discontinued).
These products work by irritating the lips, causing them to swell slightly and give a plumper look to the mouth. Of course, the manufacturers don't use the word 'irritate' but 'stimulate' instead...!
I was shopping in town and was browsing in beauty departments to buy one. I had heard good things about Too Faced Lip Injection before so thought I would give it a try.
The gloss actually comes in a range of colours but I bought the original clear version.
Furthermore it comes in three different strengths - original, extreme and supersize - lordy! I started at the bottom with the original.
It costs £11 in Boots and £10 in House of Fraser for a small 4.5g tube and comes in a slim pale pink box. The tube is fairly small with a black lid and looks slightly pink in colour although when applied is colourless.
The smell is quite fruity and fine if you like that sort of thing, I didn't find it too overpowering or chemically smelling.
You don't get an instruction leaflet with it which I found quite strange, but on the website the advice is as follows:
* Apply Lip Injection to a clean dry lip.
* Leave on for 5 minutes then wipe off. If you want to wear a matte lip color the plump will last.
* Lip color or gloss can also be applied after Lip Injection.
I was advised to expect tingling for about 4 minutes and that means its working. Most of these plumpers tingle and I am used to that sensation so wasn't worried. But wait! This doesn't merely tingle, it bloomin' well stings!! I found the sensation to be a bit like some tiny needles pricking at your lips - in fact on first application it hurt so much I had to wipe it off!!
But vain cow that I am, I looked in the mirror and saw plump lips and was quite happy with the result so the next day I tried it again. for what reason I'm not sure, but it merely tingles now, I haven't experienced that stinging sensation again.
On the plus side it does make your lips look fuller and the effects seem to last quite well - for a couple of hours I would say. Its also fairly reasonably priced for this type of product
On the minus side it is extremely drying to my lips therefore I wouldn't be able to use this every day, perhaps just for a night out or something.
Summary: I will use it until its run out but it's too drying for me to buy it again.
Oh and I asked my husband what do you reckon?
He said "it doesn't look any different, well perhaps you look a bit more fishy". Looks like I ended up with my trout pout after all.
Too Faced Lip Injection
I have been searching for a lip gloss that enhances my lip shape whilst adding an extra bit of oomph for quite a while and decided to try a "lip plumping" gloss. I duly went to the local Boots and had a look around the various beauty counters. The too faced lip gloss was the only lip pumping gloss that I found which was available in clear or a lovely light pink natural colour.
Hence I Purchased The Following:- Too Faced Lip Injection In Techno Punch and Clear and hurried home to try out my new purchase and was very surprised at the results.
****Price*** £9.79 from Boots
Too Faced Lip Injection is a Lip Gloss which aims to enhance and plump your lips courtesy of the ingredients. The theory being that patented Technology makes your blood vessels dilate thus causing the plumping effect
One of the key ingredients that contributes to the Lip Plumping Effect appears to be:- Capsicum Frutescens Resin (Resins are derived from the plant or the fruit of hot peppers) Capsicum Frutescens Resin is a compound that is isolated from hot peppers. Capsaicin is responsible for the hot burning feeling that results when you eat or handle a hot pepper. This explains the tingling sensation which I felt upon application of the lip gloss.
I applied the Lip Gloss via the small brush which is attached to the lid of the tube and the Gloss was easy to apply, the gloss isn't sticky or thick or lumpy and application was quite smooth. After a few seconds I felt a tingling on my lips and looked in the mirror and must admit that there was a noticeable difference to the overall size of my top and bottom lips. Not a huge difference but the product defiantly worked.
The effect lasted for around 30 mins and the tingling abated after 10-15 seconds. The gloss itself left a light semi glittery sheen on my lips which again lasted for around 30 mins.
The Too Faced Lip Injection is sold in a small Black cardboard Box with an image of a pink Syringe on the front with Technicolor wrote on the front of the Syringe Image. The Too Faced logo which comprises a silhouette of a lady in black against a pink background is at the top of the box with the Too Faced script style writing underneath. The back of the box is black with the product ingredients listed in pink writing.
The Product itself is contained within a clear, square tube with the Too Faced Syringe image on the front with the Too Faced logo inside the Syringe Image. The lid is black and square and upon opening there is a small brush attached which is used to apply the Lip Gloss.
The product in my opinion looks sleek and is a good small size to fit into any make up bag - but I have noticed that the Lip Gloss can leak out of the tiny gap between the lid and the tube.
****Product Ingredients****Source (Packaging)
Mineral Oil, Polyisobutene, Ethylene, Propylene, Styrene, Copolymer and Butylene, Avocado Oil, Tocopheryl Acetatem Propylparaben,Benzynicotinate, Capsicum Frutescens Resin,Favour (May Contain):- C1 17200 Red 33 Lake,Mica,C177891,Titanium Dioxide,C15850,Red 7 Lake,C177491,C177492,C177499, Iron Oxides, C119140, Yellow 5 lake.
***Advantages**** The Product definitely does what it says on the tin; the Lip Plumping effect is effective and lasts for 30mins which to me is a good length of time. The Gloss itself is of a good consistency and the clear slightly glittery effect can be worn alone or over another lip colour which is an added benefit.
****Disadvantages**** The Gloss does tend to leak due to the slight gap between the lid and the square tube and the product is quite costly.
I was initially wary of trying this product, due to some negative reviews I had read on it, so I brought it as part of a larger set. I like the containers size because it's easy to carry without being obtrusive, it's also quite aesthetically pleasing. The texture of the lip-gloss is extremely thick, and is applied with a brush.
There was a noticeable heat when I first tried this product, although I wouldn't describe it as a stinging sensation, and I haven't experienced this since,( there's been no pain AT ALL). Once applied the gloss is very shiny, and gives my lips a nice, bright red look without being coloured. However, I don't think it really makes them noticeably larger.
It's worth pointing out that my sister also tried this product- and had a very bad reaction to it. Although it made her lips significantly larger, she had to remove the gloss because it hurt so much. As such, whilst I liked this product, I can't give it more than 3 stars because there's no guarantee it won't either hurt too much to apply or not work at all.
I've upgraded my Sally Hansen Lip Inflation!
This was bought for me by my fiance at Christmas after subtle hinting around the Too Faced Cosmetics counter in our local House of Fraser. (Though he would like to add that he liked my lips without this and doesn't like that he can't kiss me when I have this one as it tingles!)
This is at the higher end of the lip-plumping market, it costs around £12 which is a lot more than I would be prepared to pay for any lip gloss but hey it was a present, so i'm not complaining!
Too Faced's slogan is "Why be pretty when you can be gorgeous?" I love that!
Lip Injection - Extreme lip plumping treatment
This is the best-selling lip plumper according to the Too faced website (www.toofaced.com if you're interested)
--How it works--
The 'exclusive formula' is enriched with Vitamin E Derivative's which promote blood flow, therefore plumping the lips and also giving them a bee-stung flash of colour. It also contains ingredients which slightly irritate your lips to plump them even more!
You need to apply the lip gloss to clean, dry lips and within 5 minutes the plumping effect will have worked. if you then want to wear a matt lipstick or go for natural looking lips you can wipe the lip injection off and it will still keep your lips plump for up to 4 hours.
If you leave the Lip Injection formula on you will get a lovely glossy look which in my opinion lasts longer than usual lipglosses.
A tingling feeling is normal and just means that it is working.
The tube is tiny, just 4.5ml but as you only need to apply it every four hours or so it lasts ages. I've used mine most weekends since christmas and its only about a quarter empty.
It is made from clear plastic with a black lid, on the tube it says in tiny black letters 'Lip Injection, Too faced Extreme lip plumping treatment' The writing is in and around a simple outline of a syringe.
The gloss inside is pale pink and can obviously be seen through the clear plastic, once its on your lips it's clear in colour though.
The packaging looks good and best of all it looks expensive (which it is!) so I feel good getting this out in the toilets on a night out to touch up my lips!
--Does it work?--
Its the best lip plumper i've tried, even better than Sally Hansen Lip Inflation and I was impressed with that!
It tingles quite a lot in the first five minutes but personally I like that feeling!
As I mentioned it will make the lucky fella in questions lips tingle if you kiss him and it doesn't taste fantastic either if you lick your lips.
It smells gorgeous though, like strawberry sweeties :) so your lips will at least smell nice if a man gets that close lol.
It plumps your lips up by about 20% and also adds a flush of colour as it irritates your lips (you can get the same effect by having a hot nandos meal too lol)
The glossiness is perfect too, the gloss itself is fairly thick and gloopy so it has good staying power too. I love a glossy lip for a night-time and this combined with the bonus of the plumping action makes this perfect!
I love it and hopefully this will last me until my birthday or christmas when i'll be getting some more if I hint enough :)
It is available from department stores such as House of Fraser and Debenhams or many online beauty stores, the prices vary from £11 to around £15.
I purchased this ipgloss recently after reading lots of reviews about it.
At first I was totally shocked at how small the container was, I got the 'full size' gloss for £12.
After seeing how small the pack was I hoped it would work or it would be a real waste of money.
So after getting ready for a night out, I applied the gloss.. WooW.. It stings quite a bit to start with and can be a little uncomfortable.
The scent is quite nice and after a few seconds the sting goes away. It is quite a sticky texture when applying as the gloss is fairly thick, when applied this isn't a problem.
The finish is truely glossy, it makes your lips look very wet, full and moist. It definately does make them look a lot fuller, as stated on the pack.
The lasting power is quite good too, as I often find myself topping up my lipgloss every 10 minutes, but this stayed on nearly all night without re-applying.
You can get immune to the ingredients over prolonged use. If you find the effects are not lasting as long. Stop using for a while.
My main fault with this product is the price, I'm not sure if it's really worth the money. I am currently using a clear plumping gloss from '17' at Boots and is seems just as good as this product and it only cost £1.99.
Overall it does what it says on the pack, it gives you fuller looking lushious lips that stays glossy for hours on end..

At a glance this sounds like a fantastic product and foolishly my friends and I all bought it with the view to having beautiful lips! It comes in a regular small size for £12, but super size is also now available.
Lip Injection claims to give you 30% fuller lips when used. (20% fuller lips should be viisable within the first 5 minutes.... if you can last that long!)
All I can say is that it is super shiney and lasts but boy does it hurt! I have used lip enchancing glasses before and never minded the menthol tinglying sensation but this is soemthing else!! It was so painful I had to take it off! One of my friends got it on the skin around her lips and it went all red! To top it off my other friend gave her boyfriend a kiss and he took some sort of reaction to it, poor thing! There is an extremely long list of ingredients... so who knows what the reaction was to.
The fullness in your lips should last for 4 hours and the manufacturers state that if you want you can keep the product on for 5 minutes then wipe off and you will still get the desired fullness effect - (why buy a gloss if you don't want shiney lips?!!?)
In my opinion this product is for those who can stand pain, not for the faint hearted like me. Please do then sensible thing and skin test it first before spending £12 on something you may find too painful too use!
Gloopy lip gloss, gives excellent shine /
