Advantages: Good staying power. Lovely range of colours available.
Disadvantages: Expensive! Not that easy to sharpen.
A couple of Christmas's ago I picked up a set of Urban Decay 24/7 eyeliners in a set of 5, with the intention of giving a couple away as little gifts.
Needless to say, that never happened!
My previous experience of using eyeliner hadn't been a particularly great one. Think scratchy blue eyeliner circa 1985... My make up bag was in dire need of an update!
The Urban Decay eyeliners come in a fantastic range of colours, I am currently in possesion of 5 - Lust (which is a gorgeous rich purple colour), Covet (a brilliant lush green colour), Zero (a darkest jet black colour), Electric (an electric turquoise colour) and Bourbourn (a smooth metallic brown).
The pencil glides on super smoothly, with no snagging of skin so it gives a super straight line when using it.
The creamy consistency has fantastic staying power, even for someone like myself who is a chronic eye rubber! My only realy complaint is as the product is creamy it can be difficult to sharpen. I find popping them in the fridge for a while can overcome this though.
The colours are so vivid and unlike any other eye pencil I have used.
My cousin got married last Summer and she and her bridesmaids all used the Urban Decay 24/7 eye pencils as part of their make up. Her bridesmaids had purple eyeshadow with turquoise eyeliner along the waterline and it looked absolutely stunning and totally unique!
I can't wait to add more to my collection!
Summary: A long lasting eye pencil in a great range of shades.
