Advantages: Great base for eyeshadow, colour stays vibrant, crease free and long lasting
Disadvantages: Awful packaging makes is a pain to get out of the bottle when you are running low
As a newly converted You Tube make up tutorial addict i noticed that all the girls were mentioning this product.
What do Urban decay claim?
They say it is the genie in the bottle and will grant you three wishes. They are eyeshadow that lasts, eyeshadow that is more vibrant and absolutely no creases.
What do i think?
Previously to this i had been using a cream eyeshadow to prime my lid which i often found creased. Urban decay primer potion has DEFINATELY improved the application of my make up. It provides a smooth base that allows colours to glide on top of it. The colours stay true and they last all day. The difference is remarkable. I have done a test with one eye eith the primer potion and one eye without. At the end of a normal working day the test was conclusive the primer potion granted its three wishes.
The down side:
HOWEVER..the packaging is a real set back. It certainly looks pretty but the shape of the bottle is totally impractical. The curves mean the product can stick into the sides and you simply cant get to them without cutting the bottle open. If they could just simplfy the packaging this would be a 5 star as it works so very well.
The price: I bought mine from Boots from thr Urban decay counter and it cost just under £10 and you get
Summary: Amazing product shame about the packaing
