I don't know about you, but I like to put my make up on once a day and it stay there! Sadly, in the case of most eyeshadows, this simply doesn't happen.

Fed up with my eyeshadow creasing and sliding by lunch time, I started reading review-upon-review of Urban Decay's Primer Potion. I already knew about its good reputation, but I needed to be sure before I paid £10 for it! After satisfying myself that it would indeed solve all my eyeshadow woes, I invested on Boots.com.

12 months on, and I haven't looked back. I use this EVERY day without fail. Not only does it make my eyeshadow go on smoother, but it keeps it there. All Day Long. Hurrah for Urban Decay. I even sometimes use it even if I'm not going to put eyeshadow on top, because it evens out the tone of your eyelids, making them look fresher without making you look overly made-up.

You apply the product itself with the attached wand - which is ok. The main problem - as has been mentioned in numerous reviews, is that it's nigh on impossble to get all of the product out of the weirdly-shaped (but nontheless very pretty) tube.

I have resorted to wiggling around the wand madly inside the tube and I'm still getting primer potion out 12 months later. I have tried to saw it open to reach yet more product, but this is one tough tube so I think I'm going to have to get a DIY-loving man involved!

Some reviews mentioned that this helps their eyeshadow 'pop' and look more vibrant. I haven't really noticed this benefit but I find that it is worth it for the eyeshadow-locking properties alone.
