Advantages: Very nice colours and long lasting
Disadvantages: Bit expensive
Urban Decay Eye Shadow
£12, which I bought in Boots
Urban Decay have a really good range of eye shadows and colours. I'd never really bought any Urban Decay products as I thought they were a bit expensive. However, I received a gift set once with about 20 urban decay eyeshadows and loved them. I saw a really nice glittery eyeshadow called Midnight Cowboy and though I had to have it. Its a shimmer pinkey/nude colour with specks of silver glitter running through so will go with absolutely everything which is the main reason I convinced myself to spend another £12 on an eyeshadow.
The eyeshadow comes in a cute little silver case with a clear cirlce on the lid to advertise the colour inside. The eyeshadow itself is very long wearing and stays on all day. The pot is quite large for an eyeshadow so will last a long time.
The eyeshadow is very glittery and the first time I put it on I didn't really realise and ended up with glitter all down my face. However, I learnt for my mistake and the next time I tried it I put a little bit of vaseline on my lids (which works just as well as Urban Decay's Eyeshadow Primer Potion - so will save you £11) and then put a bit of cotton wool under my eye for any excess glitter to fall on to that rather than my cheeks. This turned out so much better and left my lids looking very glitter. I love this eyeshadow and would definitely recommend this product and colour.
I've not tried many other Urban Decay eyeshadows but the gift set I received has a wide range of colours that also last all day. My favourite from the pack is this bright purple one which is fantastic.
Overall I think the range of colours are very good and these are good quality eyeshadows, well worth the price tag.
