I love Urban Decay make up in general, it mostly all good quality though it can be hard to come by and expensive, I think its worth it for a treat as it works so well, I tend to use it only for special occassions though.
This foundation that comes in a lovely purple unusual bottle that looks nice when you tak it out of your handbag to touch up, comes in a good range of colours that even match my very fair skin.
Its not a very sticky foundation and once applied looks nice on your skin, it doesnt cake up when you add some powder over the top and it doesnt leave your skin looking sticky or oily. It gives you a fresh and clean looking complexion, which is always a plus when you can find a foundation of that good of quality. This foundation also smells quite nice when you are applying it which is always a plus as I hate the smell of some other foundations.
This foundation will however sting your purse, it costs between £15 and £18 normally and can be found in a few boots and other make up stores, though it is quite hard to find, I only know of 2 places in N Ireland that sell their products. Though expensive I think that it is worth it for a treat and if you are only using it for special occassions or nights out its definatly a good buy.
Overall I think that this is a great foundation and is one of my favourites at the moment, next to the bed head foundation I was using before, it gives me a great complexion and although it is expensive, I think its worth it for that extra confidence boost at the weekend.
Urban Decay Surreal Skin Liquid foundation is available from any Urban Decay provider such as Boots.com, larger boots and Debenhams stores and from other online shops. I'm not entirely sure how much this costs because I haven't seen it at my Boots or Debenhams for a while but I'd guess it would be priced between 15 and 20 pounds.
This liquid foundation is oil free and vitamin enriched for better results that won't break you out or cake on the skin. There are only 5 shades left that range from fair to dark but they're all yellow based, which Urban Decay claims looks good on most skin tones. Well, on me it looks great as I'm olive skinned but my friend who has loads of pink in her skin just looks a bit odd with it on, so I'm not too sure about that claim.
This foundation can be used on the face as well as on the body, and whilst it feels light and can be applied in a sheer layer, will give a medium coverage. You can build the coverage if you so wish, for a more opaque result.
I like the texture and feel of this product, it feels very smooth and light on my skin. The colour is also very nice and blends in beautifully. I only need one layer of this stuff as I mainly use foundation to even out my skin colour but not to actually hide blemishes that much.
The bottle is a strange shape; it's made of purple/ lilac coloured plastic and has a silver screw on lid on top of it. I'm not sure how I should be describing the bottle's shape but you can see it from the picture.
One thing I would say however, is that the bottle gets a bit awkward because of it's shape and you can never get all of the product out and I end up having to cut the bottle open towards the end as there is still loads of product left and I don't want that to go to waste.
So, for me, this foundation is great, good colour match, applies nicely and stays put. Two things I would mention is that it might not suit all skin colours and the funny bottle needs cutting open towards the end so you can get all the product out rather than waste it.
