Advantages: Easy to use & stays on all night
Disadvantages: Takes a few minutes to dry, not good if in a rush
I finally gave in to this product after debating for a few weeks over whether I should really be spending £11.50 on an eyeliner. I finally gave in after admiring the results on quite a few friends.
I bought it from Boots for the price above £11.50. There were loads of different colours (gold, blue, purple, green..) but I decided to go with silver to be safe.
*Packaging*
The packaging is basic for a brand that usually uses quite eye-catching packaging. However it does its job, it had never leaked even when I have taken it in my handbag.
*The Eyeliner*
I only use the eyeliner when I'm going on nights out as it looks a bit OTT for the day! I either dab it in the outer or inner corners of my eyes to add a bit of sparkle or I use it over the whole eyelid for a more dramatic effect.
The brush is like that of a nail varnish with fine bristles, however it is much thinner meaning the eyeliner can be applied with precision like any other liquid eyeliner. Despite this I still have no difficulty applying it onto the whole lid.
The eyeliner gives a lovely effect and suits most people I have seen wearing it. It also goes on well over eye shadow, meaning one can create a glittery eye shadow effect. It doesn't really have a smell, and it had a cooling effect when applied but no stinging.
The only problem is that it does take a few minutes to dry which means if you have put it all over your eyelids it can smudge a little if you open and close your eyes. The best thing to do is to leave the eyes closed for a few minutes until it dries.
Once applied the eyeliner lasts all night and none of the glitter ends up on your face. However this does mean it can be quite hard to remove, but it is worth it for how well it stays on.
I only use the eyeliner a few times a month so it feels like it is lasting a long time. But I do think it would last a long time regardless because you only have to use a little bit to get a nice glittery effect, it certainly doesn't need to be piled on.
