I lusted after the heavy metal liners for so long! I used to pop into Boots as a teen and use all the testers, checking which stayed on my hand the longest throughout the day. And they don't disappoint. I tested these so many times and there isn't anything so similar out there.

Urban Decay is a lush brand, and very lust-worthy. there's nothing better than getting ready to go out, and UD embodies this with their bling packaging and glittery, popping shades. The price point is higher than most highstreet brands but their products are of great quality and high pigmentation, so they will always feel special in your makeup bag.

The liners aren't just shimmery, they contain real glitter bits so they make a HUGE impact on the eye. Don't be afraid! Often glitter in pots is not eye-safe, but this glitter is in a special coloured gel, so is fine for your peepers! Glitter is usually just shimmer, but these liners are certainly bits of real glitter.

The brush is so tiny and thin that you can be very precise. If you want a wider line you must reapply a few times as the glitter doesn't last too long after each stroke. I'd much rather have a thinner brush though as you never want to be covered in glitter! It's just for fun, so a little goes a long way in your finished made-up look.

The glitter also comes off easily so application is simple! If you over-apply or slip a little, you can wipe away the gel glitter easily.

The background colour is not so strong, so it helps to layer this over existing eyeliner or shadow. Many people compare these liners to the much cheaper Collection 2000 versions, but I prefer a more subtle liner rather than a very bright colour with a wider brush.

The range of colours is superb, I recommend the silver or gold as they can layer over any colour. I love adding these to the corner of my eye or over my eyeliner. They are not overpowering so can give subtle colour but big glitter power! A must for every makeup bag or for adventurous people who love to make the most of a night out. They make the best gifts too!

You get 7.5ml in each bottle, and they last for literally years. You only need to use very little, so one bottle of the silver or gold will satisfy all your makeup needs. It is also important to me to keep my products clean, as if they get mucky in my makeup bag I don't want to use them as much, but this product's font and label have great staying power and the handy little bottle will be an instant favourite.
