I'm not quite sure there is anything cuter and yet as stylish, in the beauty world as Urban Decay's XXX Slick Pot Gloss. Just take a look at the photo at the top of the page and will yourself not to fall in love with it. It's gorgeously sweet little fat pot, complete with a kitsch tassel coming from the lid to add a "bit of sass" is perhaps my favourite packaging of a lip gloss of all time. With its striking packaging jumping right out at me it was almost impossible not to fall head over heels in love with it right there and then. Who said love at first sight doesn't exist? And who said I can be fickle? Me?! Surely not... Now also, whilst ... Read the complete review

I have used the colour 'Carney' for quite some time now. Mixed opinion really. Product= Slick is not the word, it is really gooey and soft, and be careful if you leave it somewhere hot say for instance in your bag, many a time I've found the product escaped in my bag and by god it leaves a mess! Best keep it somewhere cool, the consistency goes quite firm and you don't tend to smear it all over your finger. Like I say it is quite soft stuff and can be a bit messy on your finger when applying. You will have to re apply quite often it is not long lasting by any stretch of the imagination. It is hard to get the application quite right as often you get too ... Read the complete review

Recently on a shopping trip I came across lots of Urban Decay products in a discount store. After a lot of debating, I came away with two lip glosses - their lip gunk and a pot of Urban Decay XXX Slick Pot Gloss. ~About the Product~ This is a lip gloss by Urban Decay that is designed to give a sheer colour, and a soft sheen to the lips. As far as I'm aware there are only four colours available, and each colour of gloss has a different scent. The colours are... Carney - A pinky brown colour, which is bubblegum scented. Gash - Delightfully named, I'm sure you'll agree! This is a deep red colour, scented with cherries. Sin -This ... Read the complete review

Being a huge fan of Urban Decay products you can only imagine my excitement when I saw a load of different Urban Decay products at £2.00 each in T.J Hughes! I bought one in every type of product in every colour possible! I spent an absolute fortune but talk about worth it! Now I was in love with the eyeshadow already and had never tried any lip products before from the range and the one I actually had in my head to try (full price or not) was this xxx slick gloss due the cute packaging! (I'm a sucker for cuteness!). The Packaging.... Comes in a plastic square box with the pot inside. The pot itself is round and clear plastic and on the ... Read the complete review

I was looking for a nice peachy gloss when I ordered this, and silly me trusted the website's description that it was sheer peach. Its more of a champagney-beige color. Very nude and neutral. The packaging is a sweet but an impractical mess. The lid is hard to screw on and off, and the pot isn't large enough for me to easily dip my finger into. I have to use a lip brush, so it would be a pain on the go. I don't think I'd take it with me anyway, I'd be afraid the top would pop off and I'd get goo in my purse. The consistency is very slick, Not sticky at all. Its almost oily feeling. The color can go on sheer, and is slightly buildable, but go too ... Read the complete review
