Advantages: Makes hands softer,helps nails
Disadvantages: Nothing
One of my 21st presents was a box filled with pink tissue paper, and amongst other things was this small 75ml bottle of Vaseline moisturiser specifically for your hands and nails.
I always wear nail varnish, and sometimes it stains my nails. I also just gave up biting my nails, so they are in a bad condition, although there is some length to them.
On the bottle it promises to 'condition and moisturise to give you softer hands, smoother cuticles and stronger nails'. Well Ive used it for about a week nearly every day, and my hands are feeling great.
The smell is just like being in a spa, its quite a flowery smell but not overpowering.
The colour of the cream is white, but the bottle is pink. I thought that the moisturiser would be pink as well but was glad when it wasnt.
The texture isnt greasy at all, it rubs in well, and doesnt take long before you can go about whatever you want to do with your hands.
I rub a pea sized amount first into my hands and then ontop of my nails and around the edges of them. As well as this I apply a base coat of nail varnish that stops your nails spliting which mine often do.
Hopefully the combination of these 2 products should help my nails become a lot healthier and look great.
If you want softer hands and better quality nails, then this is a nice cheap option from Vaseline. My size bottle of 75 ml should cost between £1.30 and £1.99. There is a larger bottle available that is pictured but Im not sure how much that one is.
One thing the colour of the bottle is good for is blending in with all my pink nail varnishes and perfumes on my chest of drawers!
Summary: Try it!
