Advantages: Non-greasy, suitable for most skin types

Disadvantages: bit runny, smell not too pleasant

The Packaging

In a squeeze tube, pink in colour. The brand name vaseline intensive care is in a bold blue box on the front of the tube. The flip top lid is at the bottom of the tube, so becareful on opening that the tube is not squeezed. The packaging is 100% recycable, so once the product is opened,12 months later (similar to a use by date) just throw out with the recycling.
The Ingredients

The main ingredients of the product are Aqua, Stearic Acid, Dimethicone, Coco-Caprylate/Caprate and Cetyl Alcohol. The tube actually promotes milk proteins and AHA, which are featured further down the list of ingredients. Milk proteins are rich in minerals and help to keep the skin healthy and nourished. AHAs are Alpha Hydroxyl Acids, which have restorative benefits by balancing the skins natural PH level and moisturising the skin. With these ingredients the skin is left with a non-greasy feeling of smoothness and softness in the cuticle area.
The Product itself

A baby pink colour, slightly on the runny side with a bearable fragrance. However once applied the feeling of smooth soft skin is noticeable. The packaging advises to apply 2 to 3 times a day, however I found twice a day ample enough. Drier skin conditions or overly worked hands may need more applications. I carry around the 75ml size as it fits quite nicely into the side of my handbag and it does last a long time as minimal amounts are required (due to the slightly runny lotion).
Value For Money

I have been using this product a while now, and I have always believed it to be good value for money. Although there are cheaper hand lotions, they do not have the same long lasting smoothing effect. I bought my most recent tube at a beauty stall and it cost me £1.79, which for the time it lasts is great value for money.

Summary: A pink coloured lotion that keeps hands smooth all day long
