Advantages: Quickly absorbed, inoffensive smell

Disadvantages: There are cheaper hand creams out there

This is a hand cream containing keratin and vitamin E that claims to soften hands and strengthen nails.

Packaging: it comes in a pink and blue 75mL tube. The tube stands on the lid, so gravity makes the moisturiser is easy to dispense - no shaking required. Be careful when dispensing though as it comes out very easily and you may end up with too much. If this happens to me I always use the excess on my elbows as they are always in need of moisture. It does come in larger sizes as well.

Price: £1 for 75mL at Boots on special.

Smell: the smell is inoffensive and not very strong. I can't figure out exactly what it smells like, it is just that standard 'lotion' type smell.

Absorption: An important feature for hand creams is that they are easily absorbed so your hands aren't left greasy. This product is quickly absorbed after about a minute, with no greasy texture left behind.

The result: hands feel soft, moisturised and lightly scented. It may be necessary to apply several times a day. As for the claim that it strengthens your nails, mine definitely feel stronger from using this regularly.

Summary: Overall a good hand cream for an OK price.
