Advantages: Soft and moisturised hands, quickly absorbed.

Disadvantages: Cream is slightly runny for my liking.

I wanted some good quality and cheap hand cream recently and after having a quick look in Boots I saw this Vaseline hand cream on special offer for only £1 for a 75ml tube. I was drawn in by the pretty pink packaging and the promise of softening hands and strengthening nails by 50%. The hand cream also contains keratin and vitamin E, making it sound like it would give great results.

The back of the packaging states it has a fast absoring formula that is non-greasy. There's nothing worse than a greasy hand cream which I came across in the Avon range, and having a cream that is quickly absorbed is essential as I don't want to spend 5 minutes rubbing my hands.

The hand cream smells pleasant and actually reminds me of the tubs of Vaseline, the smell transfers onto your hands as well making them smell nice, although I don't think people often worry about the smell of their hands...! My favourite smelling hand cream is from the Soap & Glory range, but this hand cream is a fraction of the price and still smells good enough.

The cream itself is the usual white colour, and I was disappointed by how runny it is. I prefer thicker hand creams, but despite it being quite runny it's still of good quality and straight away I can feel it mouisturising my hands. This is comparable to Asda's own hand cream, which is runny and not very moisturising at all! As promised by the packaging, the cream is quickly absorbed and you don't spend ages rubbing your hands together waiting for it all to sink in. Afterwards my hands feel very soft and smooth, and certainly not sticky or greasy.

I have been using this hand cream for a while now and I have noticed it keeps my hands feeling moisturised and smooth for many hours. Unfortunately whenever I use the hand wash at work they feel dry again, but a tiny amount of this hand cream gets them feeling back to normal.

This hand cream ticks all the boxes for me. It's reasonably priced, quickly absorbed, smells good, and leaves my hands feeling nice and soft. The only niggle for me is the fact it's slightly too runny for my liking, but this is out weighed by all the other positive's. I certainly recommend this hand cream.

Summary: A good hand cream from Vaseline, good value for money.
