Wow, what can I say about this wonderful little product?

It is the most amazingly simple stuff. Petroleum for goodness' sake! When I was younger my parents laughed at me for using a massive tub of Vaseline on my lips - but that was before these lovely little pots came out!

Vaseline is a semi solid/semi liquid (depending on the temperature!) product that has a variety of uses. I use it on my lips, and sometimes I dab a little on patches of dry skin to moisturise it (not too much though as it can be greasy). Another use is to smear it on your eyelashes to make them shiny and look longer. You can also dab some on your eyebrows to tame them.

My friend uses Vaseline as an eyeshadow when she goes out in the evening! She uses black mascara and black eyeliner on her upper and lower lids, and dabs some Vaseline on her eyelids. In the semi-darkness of bars and clubs it looks as though she has pale eyeshadow on - a really good effect!

The packaging for this product is very simple and appealing. The standard Vaseline pot is blue and white. There is a green and white pot with aloe vera (I'm not keen on this one as it makes me feel a bit sick), a yellow and white pot which contains SPF, and a pink and white pot which adds a little pink to your lips.

It is very cheap, only £1 a pot or thereabouts, and lasts for absolutely ages!

Wonderful stuff - one of my beauty must-haves.
