I have used Vaseline for years to keep my lips soft and supple and stop them from getting dry. I use it a fair few times a day as I cannot stand the feeling of dry lips. I must use it so much that a friend at work once asked what it was that prevented my lips from cracking because he was going to tell his girlfriend to use it as he was fed up of kissing her cracked lips. NOT SURE HOW WELL THAT WENT DOWN!! But the point is, this little blue pot of magic got these lips looking kissable (...!).

So what do you get ? Well typically Vaseline is sold in cute 20g tins which are very sturdy and very handy size. Vaseline is essentially petroleum jelly which "soothes dry skin and lips" however it is not limited to just these uses. One can use it to keep eyebrows in line, use it to soften hard skin, use it to soften cuticles, can ease off rings that are stuck on your fingers, can use it to heal and protect new tattoos, the list is literally endless. All on one tiny pot!

The 20g original pot does not have taste or odour to it in my opinion, nor does it have a colour, so looks like a clear lipbalm. The small pots last me months as a small bit goes a long way. You can also buy jumbo tubs really cheaply £1-2 and refill the handy pocket sized pot so you can save yourself a few quid as well.

Vaseline is available in most chemists and supermarkets. They also do Aloe Vera and Rose versions but I have not tried them yet as I prefer to stick with the product that I like!
