Advantages: keeps lips soft, and has plenty of other uses too, great value for money

Disadvantages: gets a bit 'gunky' when warm

I only have a couple of beauty products that I would really hate to be without, and Vaseline Lip Therapy is one of them!

Although this is sold for use on the lips, it is in my opinion a real multipurpose product. I use it on bare lips to keep them moisturised; as a top coat over tinted lip balm or lipstick; to keep my eyebrows neat and tidy; to soothe dry skin on hands and elbows; to restore shine to my fingernails sometimes; and, very occasionally, I use a tiny amount instead of hair wax or serum to smooth down fizzy ends.

All this for (usually) about 99p - what more could you want?

Oh yes, it's also fantastic when you've had a cold for a while and your nose is getting all sore - just rub a little of this stuff around the edges of your nostrils and I promise it will really help!

I love the packaging too - but I always love dinky little tins so that's probably why! It's a perfect size for slipping nito your bag or pocket - although I wouldn't recommend letting it get too warm as it does start to melt and go a bit 'gunky'. Mind you, that probably applies to most lip balms and lipsticks as well.

Summary: A great value, multipurpose beauty product that you should not be without
