Advantages: It is affordable and comes in handy little pot.

Disadvantages: It's basic - there isn't anything fancy about it.

I've been using Vaseline lip therapy for a few years now and although it isn't the fanciest product on the market, it keeps my lips hydrated, smooth and I often use it by day and by night.

The main ingredient of Vaseline Lip Therapy is Vaseline Petroleum Jelly. It also contains a mixture of mineral oils, paraffin and microcrystalline waxes blended together they create a smooth jelly that has a melting point just above body temperature. This means that it melts into the skin.
I am not a fan of wearing heavy lip stick during the day and I find that this is nice addition to my natural makeup look.

The pot nicely in my makeup bag / handbag so I have it with me constantly.

I have also been known to experiment is the Vaseline, adding it to lip stick to create a glossy look and adding it eyeshadow to create an eye cream effect.

It cost £1 a pot and although it doesn't last very long on your lips it feels nice and I think that it's a very versatile product.
