Advantages: use it for almost everything

Disadvantages: none i can think of

There is no lip balm, gloss or whatever that is better than vaseline. You can use it for everything! I usually wear it alone or with lipstick and most of my friends ask in wonder what i use, but shocked they are when i tell them the simple, unexpensive secret that some women and even men only use if thet have a cold or clapped lips.
I carry vaseline with me everywhere, the only thing id want though is an easier way of applying it, as your finger is messy if your sat in school or on the bus.
Vaseline is described as a secret, but i think it is anything but, almost every household owns a tub of vaseline, used on burns to eyelashes.
I've been using vaseline for years and have not yet found anything better, i am still looking......
