      Disadvantages

Good value, but falls short on shine

I have three of these nail polishes, "Lilas 17", a lilac, "Violet Paillettes 21", which is purple with silver, blue and magenta glitter, and "Bleu Angelique 31", pale blue with silver glitter.

I have had them all for a good few years and the consistency is still fine, thanks to good bottle design and the inclusion of a ball bearing (take note Rimmel!). The colours are not as great in my opinion as those offered by Rimmel for example, they are not as strong and brightly pigmented, and the shine they have when first applied goes down in a couple of days. Applying a clear top coat can help stop this dullness.

They do take a few days to start seriously chipping, which is great, especially as they are advertised as being "anti-chip" (anti-choc), and "shock resistant". When I am wearing this nail varnish my nails still feel quite flexible.

The bottles are quite large (12 ml) and in this case they were good value for money as I bought them all in a special offer at the Clothes Show Live.
