“ Brand: Victoria Jackson / Type: Eyeshadows / Suitable for: Eye „
Victoria Jackson is a Hollywood make up artist and likes to think of herself as "aa goodwill ambassador for makeup." Victoria dedicated years of her life in women's correctional facilities helping boost their confidence with "outer beauty" Jackson has a large range of make up ranging from foundation to eyes and lips all in which help to illuminate vital areas of the face helping to make you look more fresh faces and to feel good about yourself. I have no idea how I came into possession of this eye shadow pallet. I have had this for a few years now and cannot recall how I got this. However Victoria Jackson has her own website through which this item is still for sale. You can find it at www.vmakeup.com/collections/eyes in the eyes section. This is an American website and you can pick this up for $18.95. When swapping this into English pounds it's quite cheap costing roughly £12.
This pallet is quite small and thin which for me is ideal because I have a small make up bag with lots in it and a really big box with hundreds of cosmetics in. Being small means I can keep it in my everyday bag rather than having to dig it out of my box every time I want to use this. In this pallet there is a small compact mirror, this is something I don't use to put this product on with but if I have it on me it's useful to have a quick glance at my make up.
This pallet has four neutral brown shades in it. These are perfect for all skin tones and is better suited for everyday wear. The product itself is compressed powder and even after all these years of owning it they still haven't broken up so they are really sturdy in the pallet. I seem to of lost the original application brush so I just use one of my other ones. Sometimes when in a rush I can put too much onto my brush and often find when I have finished using this that there are little brown powdered parts on my cheeks and under my eyes which is annoying.
I find the lightest shade is great for the eyebrow bone and the corner of my eye because it makes it stand out and sometimes I will put this under my eye along the lash line because it can help to make your eyes look more awake and fresh faced. The next shade I will put just next to the corner of my eye, then the middle shade in the middle and the darkest shade at the end and I will smudge these all together and they make my eyes look wider and very awake. With this on I don't feel the need to wear a lot of other make up I'll just wear this with some mascara and maybe a bit of eye liner.
This is long lasting and I've found that I never need to re apply this. It keeps nice and neat and doesn't crease up on the eyelid like a lot of cheaper eye products do. Overall I like the subtle neutral shades of brown which look good no matter what. I will use this on a daily basis and it's showing no sign of wear still despite owning for years.
