Advantages: Works well

Disadvantages: Clogs pores and cause spots

I first bought this product a few years ago when I noticed that I had dark shadows under my eyes and was beginning to look increasingly tired with every day that passed! It's not cheap at £12.50, but is it worth it?

It looks really ncie and posh in a gorgeous silver metallic pen style tube. It really does look classy and elegant. It has a pull off lid that comes off easily when you want it to, but also stays on when you want it to. It's about the same size as your average lip gloss or mascara tube, so it's easy to fit in a handbag, mak-up bag or even a pocket if you wanted to.

To use it you just twist the bottom of the tube to release some of the product onto the brush applicator at the other end. You only need to twist it about 3 times to get enough to do both eyes. Then all you do is dot it onto the undereye area that you want to conceal, and blend it by patting it gently with your ring finger.

The colour looks really dark and pinkish when it comes out but it blends in really easily to work with your own skintone. It feels creamy and smooth and it doesn't irritate the skin, which is essential in products that are used around the eyes as the skin is very sensitive here.

It's really quick and easy to apply and only takes a couple of seconds to blend perfectly to give an even finish and conceal those undereye bags. And the amazing thing is that it really does work! It brightens up the undereye area without looking like it's even there, and makes you look brighter and wide awake.

It doesn't shimmer like some of these undereye concealers do, which is great as all that does is draw more attention to any other flaws you may have. It just gives a really fresh, bright appearance, whilst still looking completely natural, and not at all made up. It lasts well and I don't find I need to touch it up at all during the day, unless I've been rubbing my eyes alot.

The only problem I have with this is that it must be clogging my pores, as I sometimes end up with tiny spots by the inner corners of my eyes when I've used this, and I never get spots there otherwise. Apart from that slight downside it's a fantastic product that I have kept on buying.

I don't think I'll be buying it again as I'm trying to cut back on my spending on cosmetics, and at £12.50 I really think I should be getting one that doesn't clog my pores and cause spots!

Summary: It is a good product, but has it's downside

Great review. I know what you mean about the shimmery finish of other concealers, I end up looking worse! Might try this one. Thanks for the review x
