      Advantages

      Disadvantages

This is a beautiful foundation but makes my skin look too shiny

      WHAT IS IT?

A liquid foundation from Yves Saint Laurent.  It comes in a smart glass and gold bottle, but mine was a sample from a beauty show so is in a plain gold tube and is not full size.

      APPLICATION

I always use a soft sponge to apply foundation but this foundation from YSL smoothes on better and easier when I apply it with my fingers. It is quite a thin liquid and applies very easily, it helps with blending if you start at one point in the centre of your face and work outwards. Then you should apply to your chin line and down your neck, the silky liquid makes this easy and I never feel like I am missing patches of my skin.

      WHAT I THINK

I like this foundation very much but do not think I would use it very often on my own skin because it has got quite a shiny finish and that does not suit me very well.  I received the sample to trial on my clients and those that suit the Golden Beige shade I was given all like the foundation and are happy with the finish.

I like how easy the liquid foundation is to apply because it is silky and powdery feeling.  It is dry to touch immediately but if you are applying blusher, eyeshadow or lip products on top then you should let it set for a few minutes so that the foundation primes your skin.

It will cover minor blemishes and imperfections but is a light foundation so doesn't work like a concealer if you have got spots or an uneven skin tone.   It makes my skin look bright and radiant but I do not like the shiny finish and would apply powder over the top if I was wearing it on my own skin.  One of my ladies has been converted to Teint Radiance and says she likes how young it makes her skin look and she also thinks it's very comfortable to wear.

This foundation does not rub off and it stays on my skin, it would be good if you are going out straight from work because it is lasts for a long time.  The only thing I do not like about this foundation is that it has got quite a strong smell that lingers for a long time after I have applied it.

      ANYTHING ELSE

YSL Teint Radiance costs £31 for a 30ml bottle and that should last for quite a long time.  It is available in 8 different shades and has got an SPF 20.
