Advantages: Great packaging, kinda easy to apply, nice result

Disadvantages: Not much colour available, pricey

Its been a while since I posted my last review, so I have to write something to show my existance *giggle*. The time is right, I've been dying to tell people about this new YSL blush because I bought it 2 months ago and now I know what to say.

***The Packaging***
Usually, I never spend more than GBP.10 on blusher. So, far, I have no complain with it. But when I saw this little bottle at the counter, even it cost GBP 23.50, I thought I just got to have it. The packaging really is a turn-on.

I think, most of us will agree that YSL cosmetics has a very "exclusive and classy" design. The shinny golden box already show that its not a high street brand, and their target is clear, the people who want to spend more on cosmetics. But you got your money worth, I mean, the size is quiet generous and the packaging will explain alot why it cost a little more. Everytime I use a YSL cosmetics, its makes me feel like "a high-tech sexy woman".....hahahaha...*dream on*

The first time I opened the box, I thought "wow". I saw a little bottle with clear case that show the colour powder with golden cover. With YSL logo in it, it surely make you excited. When I opened the cover, I found a sponge that look like a round pillow. Now its time to try it on...

***The Blush***
If I'm not wrong, it come in 3 colour tones, pink, brown and darker brown. Since I have a pink undertones, I got the pink one.The powder itself is really soft and has really small glittery powder on it. I have to shake it for a while to make it go through the sponge and then just rub it to my cheek.

At the beginning, I was affraid if this blush will cause me an allergic reaction like some glittery stuff in the market. I am glad that it doesn't. When I rubbed it to my cheeck, its not as easy as I thought, I have to do it many times until the colour appear. But when its in there, it looks great.

***What I like***
I like the idea of applying blush without brush needed. Its more practical and I can wear it anywhere. For example, I can wear it while waiting traffic light. I can even wear it without a mirror, all I have to do is just keep in mind how many time I have to rub it, and the result is the same. Since this blush not so long lasting, this easy-to-apply really needed, because you have to wear it again from time to time.

I also like the result, although, I think its better to wear it to go to a party or during girls-night-out because of the gliter kinda too much for everyday use. Because of the powder really soft, when its in the right place, it really give a blushing-from-inside look.

***What I Don't Like***
As I mentioned before, you have to rub it many times. Since I am not a really passionate woman *Yeah, I know*, its kinda annoying. And the sponge kinda big, so I have to make sure that I rub it in the same place. Otherwise, all of my cheek will turn pinkish. If you have a round face like me, trust me, it doesn't look good.

But,after I tried it several time, I got used to it. It gets easier. I finally know how to apply it until I got the exact hue I'm looking for.

Another thing is that when the powder almost finish, you have to shake it many time and yes, even more difficult to apply because you have to rub and also have turn the bottle upside down. Not so easy, I think.

***The Conclusion***
Well, I have to give YSL cosmetics team an A+ for their idea and innovation. As many new products, of course lots of things need to improve. Maybe more colour choice. But in general, this is a nice make-up that can really bright'n your make up case.

But its not really a must-have one. If you like your existed blusher, then keep that, because I think its not so hard to use conventional one with brush, especially, you dont need to apply it many times.

For anyone who's allergic to dust, you might want to reconsider it. Because when you rub it on your cheek, sometimes the powder will goes everywhere like a flying dust *heehee*. Dont be like my cousin who sneezed the whole time after she used it.

If you still curious like what happened to me, the best way is, try it on at the counter and see if you like it (or even need it) or not. With the price tag on it, I think, it wont hurt to do so.

Summary: Get it if you wanna try something new and of course, if you dont mind with the price as well.
