Advantages: Highlights skin & minimises imperfections

Disadvantages: Very expensive

YSL's Touche Eclat has long been an iconic highlighter pen known for making skin look luminous. The new Radiant version lives up to this iconic status, minimising shadows, pigmentation, red areas and dark spots whilst adding a light-reflecting radiance. The tube cost me around £23, but the price can vary from around £20 to £26.

APPEARANCE
The highlighter is in a simple shiny gold tube with black lettering. It's elegant, stylish and sleek and looks great both in my beauty bag and on my dressing table. Due to the shiny colour it is also easy to find when rummaging around in your handbag or make up bag!

The applicator brush is firm but still flexible, allowing you to apply the highlighter in specific areas, whilst keeping it fresh and natural looking. None of the hairs in the brush fell out, and the brush stayed firm despite a lot of use. There is a simple black push up button at the base of the tube which when pushed up fills the brush with the highligter liquid. I have used the product for around 4 months, virtually every day, and there is still highlighter left in the tube (though I cannot see this I can presume this, due to the ease in which the highlighter is being pushed up into the brush).

DOES IT WORK?
YES! The highlighter both illuminates and conceals dark, pigmented and red areas of the face. Though I would mention that this isn't really an alternative to concealer as the coverage is not that great. I'd recommend this product for those who have a good foundation base and wish to highlight specific areas or luminate skin which is imperfect.

For me, this product is to expensive for what it achieves. It highlights well and blends imperfections but lots of products act similarly.

Summary: A great product for highlighting areas of skin but expensive for what it is
