      Disadvantages

      Worth checking out

The Avent Future Mother Must Haves set contains a mixed variety of travel sized mum to be products, that come in a simple mesh travel bag. The set I bought was priced at just over £8 and I feel that was a fair price for the 4 products and the bag.

The bag itself is very simple and easy to pack into a larger holdall or case if using the set when traveling. One thing you do need to check prior to packing everything away in the bag, is that all the lids on the squeezy bottle and tubes are closed down well and that the body oil that comes with the set has its applicator top firmly on.

      **********************************************************
When thinking about how the entire contents of the Avent Future Mother Must Haves work together, I feel they are a good compliment for each other. The products cover your bathing and washing needs, as well as caring for tired and swollen feet and ankles. The body oil and body cream can be alternated and used in a similar way depending on your mood.

The product I least liked was the Bath and Shower Gel Essence. It was a 100ml chunky bodied bottle with a flip top lid. I felt that the product was a 3 star item. Although it did have a light aroma and contained lavender and citrus influences I didn't feel it was as good as other bath and shower products I have used. It did clean well enough, but lacked any luxurious feel.

      **********************************************************
The Moistursing Light Oil that came in the set, is rather nice. I liked the light and easy feel of the product. The aroma is rather nice and the oil spreads on easily, meaning that it can go a long way when used carefully.

I only used it sparingly and it lasted really well. It can be used on arms, legs, bump etc and it leaves a nice soft sheen and has a pampering soothing effect. The aroma is again citrusy and its not too over powering or strong. As it was a 30ml bottle with a spray action applicator, it stretched further and lasted longer than if it had been something to pour or squeeze out.

      **********************************************************
The Leg and Foot Reviver which came with the travel set came in a squeezy tube, which has a flip top lid that also doubles as a handy stand for the product. It contains green tea which has soothing qualities and also a mix of marine extracts. The tube had 50mls of product in and it lasted well enough.

I found the foot reviver had nice cooling and soothing qualities when applied. During the latter stages of pregnancy swollen feet and ankles can be a problem and I found that the product was something that when massaged lightly in could ease and soothe, although I did sometimes need assistance to apply it.

      **********************************************************
The last product in the set is the Indulgent Body Cream. Once again this comes in a simple squeezy tube and you get 50mls of this. The cream has a nice mix of shea butter which can ease an itchy baby bump and soothe that tight tummy feeling you often get.

The addition of papaya and marine extracts help give the product a nice aroma and extra soothing abilities. I found the cream was something that could be alternated with the body oil for added variety depending on need or mood. This made both the oil and the cream last a little longer.

      **********************************************************
The mesh travel bag that you get with the set is rather simply made and is sized to fit all 4 products in easily. You can stash it away in you bag easily and it helps to keep all your products neatly in one place. Its nothing special but its handy to have.

The whole set is something that can be bought to take on holidays or over night stays and could even be packed into your hospital bag. The items within the set do work well together, but can also be bought on their own if you find you like one or two and want to buy the full sized product.

      **********************************************************
As a whole item I feel this ought to get 4 stars. Although I didn't rate the bath essence as highly as the other products within the set. The travel bag is useful and when you work out the cost per item for the 4 products, it means they cost just over £2 each. This seems a fair price for what is a nice everyday type set. Its not a luxurious set and I wouldn't give it as a gift, but it does work well and has lots to offer.

        -

I was given this as a gift once my daughter was born and was grateful for some pamper products though I do think these are more for when you are pregnant than afterwards but either way, I used them!

This little Avent pack is a travel size pack with four travel sized items in it. The items are all Avent's best sellers from their Future Mother range. The four came in a nice little white mesh bag which I ended up using as a makeup bag when I had finished with the products inside. The only downside was that the zip of the bag broke off quite quickly. The products inside the bag were:

        Indulgent Body Cream (50ml)
Relaxing Shower and Bath Essence (100ml)
        Moisturising Light Oil (30ml)
        Leg and Foot Reviver (50ml)

It is a nice little kit and I was pleased to see the shower and bath essence make an appearance as it is amazing and I had used it before as can be seen in a previous review.

All of the products had the same sort of citrussy smell which was nice and refreshing and left me with a clean feeling. All the products are fully approved by dermatologists and they are hypoallergenic.

I was a bit aprehensive about using the light oil as I thought it would be greasy when it was sprayed on. I did a test patch first and was surprised at how nice it was and it was actually a dry oil spray. Although I didn't find it overly moisturising nor did it help with my stretchmarks. It was just nice to spray it and use it as a light fragrance.

I didn't really use the body cream that often. I think I used it about twice on my legs after shaving and I have to say, it made my legs feel very smooth after shaving. I think this may be down to the shea butter that was in it. This one had a strange scent - it was a bit of a mixture of the butter and citrus.

I loved the Foot Reviver! It was a nice little gel which was a mixture of strong Aloe Vera scent and citrus. It is very cooling on tired feet, especially after pushing a buggy around town for a few hours. It made my feet tingle and feel alot cooler and smoother.

I do think this is a nice little kit and I do recommend it. it works for both during and after pregnancy. It is a nice little gift and I was very pleased to have received it. It can be purchased online at around £6 and I think any Mum to be or new Mum would be thrilled to receive it. I definately was!

        Disadvantages

        Great little gift for someone.

I have had this must haves kit before and I was very impressed with the results of the products.

It is a little travel sized pack of 4 of their best sellers, all contained in a cute little white zip purse made of a mesh material.

It contains: Indulgent Body Cream 50mls
Relaxing Shower and Bath Essence 100mls
        Moisturising Light Oil 30mls
        Leg and Foot Reviver 50mls

All products are hypoallergenic and dematologist approved and all contain marine extracts to help improve skin tone and elasticity. The use of citrus based fragrances is also said to help with morning sickness although I didn't notice a difference with that.

I found this kit to have a good mix of useful products. The Oil is great for preventing stretch marks. it is a non greasy spray which rubs in easily and has a great fragrance of citrus and almonds. When this mini version had run out I went out and bought a big sized bottle as I was very impressed with the results. My skin was so soft and although I did get stretch marks they weren't as noticeable as previous ones have been. Also my skin wasn't as dry as it had been with previous pregnancies.

The foot reviver is another great product, idea for when you have swollen ankles, I used this every night after work and it really cooled my legs down. It comes as a gel and smells of aloe vera and is lovely and soothing- a perfect excuse to put your feet up!

The shower and bath essence was moisturising and left my skin feeling fresh but the fragrance wasn't very strong. It is the same citrus fragrance as the oil but wasn't as powerful, once I had dried off after my shower I could barely smell it on my skin.

Lastly the cream was good, I wouldn't use it as a daily cream but for helping my skin during pregnancy it was fine. It contained shea butter so smelt pretty good and my skin did feel nice and firm yet soft after using it but this could have been a combination of using all the products at once.

The purse was nice looking but not very practical as it wasn't spill proof so if any liquid does leak then it will go all over everything else.

I wouldn't say that any of these are essential products for pregnancy but they are certainly handy to have. It would make a nice little gift for someone as the packaging is attractive and it is a well known and well trusted brand.
