A nice product for use anytime

Boots Mediterranean Maternity Massage Butter is a lovely soothing product that I bought to try and found worked rather nicely. I cannot say it held back every stretch mark in its path and reduced them to nothing, but I can say I found it very soothing and relaxing to use and would recommend it for that purpose. Its easy to store as it comes in a handy tub and it smells divine too.

As it wasn't listed on Dooyoo as a product, a suggestion had to be made so that I can share my thoughts. As its now been added I am able to do so. Being a fan of some of the range of Boots Mediterranean products in general it seemed obvious to me that this product was worth trying. I have found that this is a nice product to use and enjoy and its one that you can use whether expecting or not in my opinion.

The product can help to moisturise your tummy bump and means that horrible tight and sometimes dry skin kind of feeling you can often get towards the end can be minimized. The product claims to minimize the occurrence of stretch marks as well as sooth and moisturise your skin. I have to say I feel the claim about minimizing stretch marks is a bit of a tall order for this product, but then I haven't found anything much that can do that in reality, as even Bio Oil has its limitations and isn't a cure all for stretch marks.

To use this I feel its best thought of as a general tummy bump and body massage butter, that can leave your skin feeling soft and hydrated. It smells yummy with its mix of citrusy neroli, organic honey and olive and the mix is not too greasy or oily which I found very pleasing. It goes on easily with its very light and airy texture and I feel the inclusion of shea butter, apricot and avocado oil do aid the butter when it comes to leaving skin feeling silky smooth after use.

I haven't found any problems or or had reactions when using the product which is good, I also found that the body butter being so light doesn't take long to become absorbed by the skin. I found that when using this it was best to use small amounts at any time, rub that into a section of the skin and then move on to the next area with another small amount of the product.

As this is not anything like a body lotion in terms of consistency it can be easy to over use the product if you dip into it too keenly and slap on a large dollop of the body butter. This can impact on how long the body butter lasts, so I would suggest that perhaps less is more in this case. By opting for a less is more type of approach, the body butter will last longer and still leave your skin feeling and smelling just as good as if you slap it on too thickly.

In terms of value for money the Boots Mediterranean Maternity Massage Butter can be bought for £4.99 per tub. Each tub contains 200mls of the body butter. I feel this isn't too bad when compared to other similar products, but would suggest you wait for deals and offers if wanting to buy, as Boots are always changing their promotions.

Right now the product is on part of a BOGOF deal/ or buy one get one free offer. This makes it very good value indeed as you can purchase 2 tubs or 400mls of the body butter for £4.99. This works out as roughly £1.25 per 100mls of product. I feel this is great value for this product, which I feel makes this a 4 star general and maternity use body butter I would be happy to recommend.
