I suffer from psoriasis and always have extremely dry and chapped skin patches all over the body. I have always been on a constant hunt of a good body moisturiser which can help to improve the situation and am very happy to have found this wonderful nourishing body oil from Burt's Bees.

- The package-
This nourishing oil comes in a plastic bottle with a white lid (the package has changed from the one shown in the photo above). The bottle contains 115ml oil. The lid is a press-open type so it's easy to use especially after shower.

- The product-
This product claims to keep the skin well hydrated. The main ingredients are: almond and lemon oils together with Vitamin E. The sweet almond and lemon oils hydrate dry skin while Vitamin E keeps skin supple and moist.

The lemon oil gives this nourishing a wonderful refreshing lemon smell. It smells great and lasts on the skin for an hour or so after shower.

- Applying the product-
I was recommended to apply the oil immediately after shower to lock in the moisture. I apply the oil all over the body and apply an extra layer on the extra dry parts. Apart applying the oil after shower, I also apply the product on my skin whenever I find them dry.


- The result-
As I said above, I suffer from extremely dry skin problem due to psoriasis. This nourishing oil from Burt's Bees really does a wonder on my skin. It does not cause any irritation problem (it's made of all natural ingredients) and is extremely useful in locking the moisture of my skin. My skin feels less itchy after the applying the product.

I find that this nourishing oil a bit greasy especially for summer time. Therefore, I would only recommend you to try out this product in summer time if you have extremely dry skin (like I do) or you may wish to wait until winter time. While it does feel a bit greasy, the refreshing lemon smell is a plus to use this oil in the summer time!


- Other uses-
Besides acting as a nourishing body oil, it is said that it can also act as a comforting massage oil as well. I haven't tried on this use so can't really comment on this.
