      A brilliant postnatal product

I had my first baby in April this year and was therefore initiated into the delightful world of postnatal products!

At my baby showers (yes, I was lucky enough to have 3) I was given several different types of maternity towels ; I think people love to scare first time mums! These were the only maternity towels I had seen that had wings which was already a plus point in my book. Also, they are cheap (99p for 10), easy to get hold of (if you live near Sainsbury's or order online with them) and are often on offer. If you joint the Sainsbury's Little Ones club, you will be emailed when there are baby product offers on and get vouchers which you may be able to use for these towels.

When the day finally arrived when I got to use the towels, I was really pleased. They were comfortable to wear, absorbant and stayed in place well. Without going into too much detail, they really did the job and worked just as well as the other (often more expensive) brands I'd tried.

You have so much going on when you've just had a baby, the last thing you want to be worrying about is ineffective maternity towels. I highly recommend these towels as a 'must have' for your hospital bag and don't know why more brands don't produce maternity towels with wings.

      A great buy

I had my third child this year in August and before hand while i was stocking up on my essentials for my hospital bag i came across these towels in my local Saisburys store and for just 99p for a pack of 10 i decided to buy a pack and see how they were. Once home i opened then and examined one and they seemed really soft and very thick so i decided they were probably quite good so i bought a few packs before my baby was born.
Once she arrived i used these straight away and i was absolutely delighted with them. They were indeed very soft and extremely absorbant, i never had any leeks with them ever. They were also very cushiony and after the discomfort you experience giving birth these were very welcome when sitting down. I would recommend them to anyone whos due a baby for after the birth, and and such a low price they are well worth the money.

Can be used for night times too

I have had three children and I have used these maternity towels after each birth.

The towels are very thick and absorbant. The wings make sure that the towel stays in place. At this time it is important to find a towel that is comfortable and this towel is the best one I have found. They are very soft and the material is kind to delicate areas. The last pack I bought was 99p for 10 towels which is quite good value. Sainsburys regularly have offers on their baby range and you can get these towels at half the usual price.

I have tried other brands such as Morrisons and Tesco but found that the sainsbury towels were most comfortable. For the first couple of days I did have to use two towels at a time but I think this is standard practice after giving birth as my midwife advised me to do it. Some of the other towels I tried didn't have wings which meant that they did tend to move around a bit.

I have also found that these maternity towels once no longer needed are great as night time towels once your normal periods resume.
