7 weeks ago i had my second child and my second c-section. I had looked into these on the internet as my daughter was 2 and a half when my son was born and i was really worried about her jumping on my knee or tummy afterwards and hurting my wound. So i took the plunge and invested in one of these, and it was the best thing i could have done! Not only did it protect my wound from any bups/knocks, it gave me a bit of support when i was feeling fragile and wobbly for the first week or 2, especially when out in the car (as a passenger!!). It comes with 3 inserts, a cushion, a heat pack and a cooling pack, and a plastic shield to give extra protection and has a variable fastener to fit most people.I wore mine day and night for the first couple of weeks until i started to feel better and my wound was healed up. I really would recommend these to anyone having a c section.
