I went to Arnotts to have a maternity bra fitted, and although it gave great support and looked really pretty, it cost £26.00 and was the most uncomfortable bra I have ever worn. I think this has more to do with the fitting than the actual bra, but considering Arnotts staff are trained in bra fitting I wasn't very impressed. I attempted to get measured at Mothercare, the assistant was completely inaccurate in her measurements, was not trained, and the selection availble was really poor and quite expensive. Whilst I was very impressed with the value for money of my boots drop cup nursing bra (£6.00) ,I could see why they were cheaper than other nursing bras on the market. For instance I also have a mothercare nursing bra that cost £14.00. My Boots nursing bra is inferior to my Mothercare nursing bra in several ways- firstly I had to buy a size smaller than I actually measured, the sizeing of the bra seemed fairly inacurate and the actual fit of the bra was less comfortable than the Mothercare one, secondly the cups on the boots bra were made of thinner marerial than the mothercare bra.
