Sleep Well Double Sublime Memory Foam Mattress Topper
by hannahlucy i love love love this mattress! would NOT be without it! it uses NASA technology using your body heat to molds to fit your body, so you get no back aches or anything because it gives you so much support, and is so snug and warm! prevents tossing and turning in the night so you wake up feeling refreshed, and you don't have to turn these ... mattresses over, some people may want to but you don't have to :) the only problem is in the summer you wake up boiling hot, but its amazing in the winter! what i do is put a smaller thinner quilt on in the summer so i don't get so hot. I went away for only five days a few weeks back, and my back killed being without this mattress, as soon as i got home the first thing i done was collapse onto my bed :) feels like heaven, literally! my nanny has one of these, and so does my mum, i got everyone to try it and they just HAD to get one!:) you seriously won't regret buying this mattress, worth the money and you won't have another bad night sleep again! haha i feel like i'm trying to sell this to you, but really do it! :D hope this helps. This allows your body to relax and it helps the blood flow easily through your viens as there are no pressure points to restrict the flow. As a result of this you tend not to toss and turn so much during the night giving you a more resful nights sleep. ... This foam was discovered by Nasa and they still use it for their astronaughts. The first make of mattress was Tempur. I have recently purchased a memory foam mattress Topper and would not go back to a standard type ever again. I could not believe how comfortable the mattress felt and had the best night sleep ever. When I first lay on the mattress it felt quite hard but as my body heated the foam it started to mould to my body. I also use a memory foam pillow which has been harder to get used to, but once you are used to it you won't go back to a normal pillow. I have read reviews that do state that memory foam takes a while to get used to but this wasn't the case for me. The foam mattress arrived tightly packed and quarter of the eventual size. You have to let them stand for 8 hours for them to fully expand. There is an odour with them at first (not horrible) but distinctive, a bit like surgical spirit mixed with rubber. This smell goes though so don't be put off by it. There are many on the market at the moment and you can get them at all leading stores and ebay and they range from £100 (double size) to £300. The heavier the density the more expensive. I have read that 4cm is enough to give you complete support, as even thicker toppers or full size mattresses do not depress more than this anyway. You may find you need a lighter tog quilt as they are warmer than a standard mattress and if you overheat at night these are probably not for you, as they do hold in the heat. by louise1254 This has to be the best purchase I've ever made. I always suffered from a bad back and found sleeping awkward due to struggling to get comfortable. All that changed the minute I put this seemingly unimpressive piece of foam on top of my mattress. I woke up the next day having not woken up once during the night, hurray! The more I used it ... the easier my back pain became. Obviously as the day goes on the pain re-emerges however I now look forward to going to sleep instead of being anxious over whether I'd sleep or be tossing and turning all night. I realised just how much straighter my spine was in the mornings as I have to adjust my rear view mirror when I get in the car in the morning and at night by about 2 inches. Also when I stay away at a hotel or on holiday I realise just how much I miss my memory foam topper as I find it almost impossible to get comfy. So much so I don't really mind coming home just to get a good night sleep again. It helps to distribute your weight evenly so no more pressure on your heavier bits. It also helps to regulate your temperature and moulds into your individual shape. If your partner is a fidgeter then you don't notice them wriggling around either as they are in their own individual island of comfort.
