      .

I have had this Mattress for 6 months. I had my previous Mattress for years and it just seemed to be a bit past it so I thought it was worth getting a new one. I love my Bed so a nice comfy Mattress is a worthwhile investment in my view. You can pick up different brands which vary in price. I would say that this brand is more the medium to slightly lower end of the brand so not as expensive as Silent Night, but there is more expensive ones in this brand though so you could still end up paying a bit more for this brand.

This one is a 4 foot 6 Mattress. We have always had this size of Mattress and we have the Kind Sized Duvet to overlap on the bed. So nice and cosy to be tucked up in this - apart from in this heat as it is far to hot to tuck up just now!

To look at the top of this mattress it looks quite comfy. It isn't flat on the top and the top has lots of little Button bits on it and a swirly pattern on it, so although it may look a little bit uneven you can't feel this when you are lying on this. This Mattress is a Medium-Firm feel and this is good for me. I do like more of a Firm Mattress but not a solid Firmness. I don't like a Soft Mattress and Hubby likes a Medium one, so this is just ideal for us. We had only looked at this online and read reviews on the site so we couldn't compare it ourselves.

I tend to fidget a bit in bed and toss and turn about, and although this doesn't state anything about no roll together there isn't much movement if I am wriggling about so Hubby seems to still stay much in the same place and not get woken up with me.

I picked this up from Argos. This was on offer for £269.99 and I had £100 worth of vouchers to use up so I think this was a good enough buy.

Even though this has just had 6 months worth of use it still looks new and there is no sign of sagging or dips - but then again I wouldn't really expect that from a Mattress of this price range.

A nice comfy thick mattress which I will last a good few years like my last 1 I imagine.

A beaut of a mattress that gives the best nights sleep I have had in a long time! Zzzzz

      ~ Airsprung Pegasus 1000 ~

I wasn't really in need of a new bed but my great-aunt had decided that she wanted to have an office in one of the bedrooms of her house instead of the three bedrooms that she had. So she asked my grandmother if I would like the new double bed that she had in the room. Know I wouldn't normally want a second hand mattress but I know that no-one has ever slept in it before as my great-aunt is a widower with no children, she is also very fussy and buys new things pretty much every year! This is also how I have 'new' carpet on my stairs as she decided after just five months she no longer liked the cream carpet she had and wanted a darker colour instead, so who am I to complain!

Anyway back to this mattress, it is made by Airsprung and the model is Pegasus 1000. It is a double size which is 4ft 6".
I do believe she bought this mattress separate to the frame but I have them both anyway.
This mattress is a white to very pale grey colour with a swirly pattern scattered all over it, there are little buttons that pull the mattress in, these are not plastic buttons but more of a thick felt type material but they are held in place with a small white plastic bar.

The mattress is medium-firm but to be honest I find it so soft and comfortable! My hubby is a lot bigger built than me yet we experience no roll over on the mattress, thankfully, I have yet to be squashed haha!
I used to suffer with a lot of back pain but since having this I suffer no more, so I guess actually I was in need of a new bed after all!

The mattress is very thick and sometimes I have difficulty in pulling a double sized sheet over it, the sheet tends to ping back off once three corners have been pulled over properly so I do sometimes tuck a king sized sheet over it and I find that this works better, it just be that I have shrunk some of my sheets in the dryer mind!

I vacuum the bed every week and flip it over at least once a month and this seems to keep it in tip top condition.
There are handles on the side of the bed, two each side which make flipping it over easier, although it is very heavy! It took us numerous attempts to get it up the stairs!
However it was worth the struggle as it does make for a brilliant nights sleep.

This sells for Argos at £299.99, which is expensive but worth it for a good sleep and even better as I didn't actually pay for it!

      Thanks for reading :o) x
