Sony MDS JE530:
... I was new to minidisc, and didnt know where to start, I was looking for a hi-fi seperate that can record from a digital source, and playback digitaly to an amplifier or receiver. I have always found sony to be my favourite manufactuer, due to their warranty support and the build quality. So I went out to search for the Sony MiniDisc Deck that would suit my needs. It was then that in a local Hi-Fi shop, I spotted the... Read the full review: sony minidisc gr8 4 everyone by fairypancakes |

Sony MDS JE520 ... buying a MD for my car I needed a MD recorder for my hifi unit so I could make up MDs for my car. So I went along to Scottish power & Comet had a look in both and saw this model the MDS JE520 on display, in fact it was the last one they had. I did not know much about them I just knew that £99 was a good price. Once I got it home and plugged it in and pressed a few buttons I started to think that I had got a bargain, I put in a blank MD to record something just to see what options it had, to my joy it had the lot. You can totally edit the discs to suit yourself and its so easy a couple of touches of a button and youre in to most features. You can recor... Read the full review: Minidisc Heaven by Paul74 |

Sony MDS JE330 ... of the biggest advantages of my new JE330 is that it is a Sony product. Sony is a name I trust and I bought the minidisc in confidence. I was not disappointed. It boasts Digital and analogue in but only analogue out, which limits the functionality when copying minidiscs etc. The remote is brilliant, offering text message like labelling of tracks. The mono recording option was also attractive, as I work in dramatics and mono is often a preferencial format. Linking it up to my hifi, I was astonished by the quality of sound produced. I have since linked it to my PC so that I can record some interesting sounds which i edit on the pc. I would have no trouble ... Read the full review: Big name, small price by kirkup_xp |

Sony MDS JE330 ... think that the sony minidisk player is a very good start for recordable hifi separates. It is easy to use and has very good sound quality for a simple to use minidisk player/recorder. I would recomened it to any one who is looking for a cheapish easy to use minidisk deck. The minidisk player is very easy to use so any one could use it. If you have never heard music from a minidisk player you will be very surprised with the sound quality.the remote is very big but it is still very easy to use. ...
