Advantages: Digital quality input and output, Good price, Lots of recording options
Disadvantages: Slow to write TOC
Technics separates have always pleased me. They look great, they sound great and they seem to last forever with no apparent degradation. This Mini-Disc player is no exception. It offers easy hook-up to my CD unit via an optical cable (supplied) and normal audio cables to my stereo receiver. I have the option of recording from the radio via analog inputs, in mono or stereo, and digital quality from my CD collection. Who needs cassettes anymore? This is digital heaven! It's near perfect! I say 'near' because it does have one flaw, unfortunately. When you record something to Mini-Disc, you have to create a table of contents (TOC) in order for your recordings to be structured properly on the disc. The Technics SJ-MD150 is a little slow at reading and recording TOC, but it's a minor flaw. I recommend this unit not only for its looks and performance but also for its price. And I expect to have it for many years!

Welcome to Dooyoo.
A couple of tips, I hope you don't mind.
Try not to write so many opinions in such a short time, this looks like you are churning and will get you less reads in the long run.
When you do write something take a look at some other opinions and see what kind of opinions get VU ratings.
Hope you have fun! |
