When it comes to these frozen chicken breast fillets these are the ones that I buy almost weekly as I really do like them and for a 1kg bag costing only £4.49 a time I think they are not only great tasting, versatile but economical too.

The Packaging:

The fillets come in a white and bright green plastic bag with a photograph of the chicken on the front and on the front of it we are told that they are Asda 'Smart Price' Chicken Breast Fillets and the weight is stated and then on the back of the bag other information listed includes ingredients being given, nutritional information is listed and contact details for Asda are given. Cheap looking but informative packaging this is the only issue I have with this bag is that it isn't resealable which would be helpful!

The Chicken Breasts:

Well the amount of chicken breasts you get in a bag really does depend as you buy these on the weight and not the amount of them. I have had 4 large breasts and up to 6 small ones in my bags, they are always skinless and lean and a nice pinkish colour and its up to you how you cook them of course!

These are suitable for the oven and for grilling and although I have done them both of these ways over the years I more often than not fry mine in chunks and pop them into curries and the likes which is absolutely my favourite way of eating these.

Fleshy and plump and lean these are simply chicken with a little salt and you can always cook these straight from frozen if you want to!

These are brilliant its as simple as that and I will continue to buy these for as long as they stay as cheap as they are!
