Although Chicken is pretty good for you for healthy eating, these aren't exactly saintly and I would guess it is the coating to blame. Each portion has 184 calories, and 7g of fat, so although the calories aren't horrendous, the fat content isn't good for you. I'm sure once in a while this is alright though. I like my Chicken, and have it now and again for Tea. Although I like to buy a fresh Chicken, boil it and make it into what I want it to be, I also like Chicken in breadcrumbs that you can chuck in the oven and it does all the work for you. I like the Bird's Eye range, but I am fond of Asda's own label as well. This is found in the freezer section of Asda. They have an American Range, and the Chicken product differ slightly. You get Popcorn Chicken, Drumsticks and these which are just Chicken Breast steaks. A box of 4 costs £1.59, and we have 2 steaks for an evening meal with Chips and some Vegetables. Cost: £1.50 for a pack of 4 chicken grills. Packaging: The outer packaging is a basic recyclable box and inside the 4 chicken grills are wrapped in a blue plastic sealed bag. Personally i do not know why they have wrapped the grills separately inside the box, this just means extra unnecessary packaging which is what supermarkets are supposed to be cutting down on!
