... logo is clearly recognisable on the golden yellow box, and you can see an image of what to expect from the fingers, which looks quite tempting. These are very straightforward to cook. They take around 12 minutes to cook in the grill or oven, though I tend to use the instructions on the box as a rough guideline. I usually oven cook these for the majority of the cooking time, then grill for a few minutes to get both sides a little crispier. It's worth checking on these every now and again to turn them over, and the...more

Birds Eye Chicken Fingers: finger chicken good (598 words)

THE BOX The box looks just how it does in the picture, with captain birds eye and a picture of the chicken finger. The box is entirely card board, and is easy to open, which you can do at either end of the box, just by ripping the cardboard open. On the back is the instructions on how to cook and all the nutritional information that you need to know. HOW TO COOK They are really easy to cook, just put under the grill turning them over when one side is golden brown, when both sides are golden brown they are ready to eat. Never leave the grill unattended though and keep an eye on them at all times. They usually take about 15 ...  Read the complete review

Delicious Crunchy Birds Eye Chicken Fingers. (613 words)

I have recently been trying to save a little money and because some of the recipes I cook myself are a little pricey I have been buying more things in a packet but trying to find things that are nutritional and still delicious. When I spotted these Birds Eye Chicken Fingers for just £1.00 for 10 in Tesco I decided to give them a go as I like Chicken & I like Fish Fingers so I figured I would like these (and I was right!). These chicken fingers come provided in a box and they are very similar in appearance to standard fish fingers as they are covered in orange crumbs and the fingers in this box are a uniform width but the lengths varied quite a lot and ...  Read the complete review

Birds Eye Chicken Fingers: There's No Fish In These Fingers! (440 words)

I've never seen these Chicken Fingers before so don't know if they're new or not, I brought them for my little sisters dinner because I wanted something that was quick and easy to cook and also something she could feed herself because I was mega busy. They are just like fish fingers only made with chicken. You can use them in all the same ways as fish fingers too including eating them with chips or a jacket potato and they are also very nice with gravy over them. I preferred mine with gravy actually because I think they are a bit dry when you cook them in the oven, you can fry them too but I don't like fried food much and deffo won't cook my ...  Read the complete review

Finger Lickin' Good? (437 words)

I love my chicken and even though I tend to opt for 'healthier' versions, I like the occasional breaded chicken. These may be considered more of a kid friendly food, but I'd argue they're tasty enough for adults too so they're something I'd recommend giving a go for a quick and easy meal. Birds Eye is a very popular brand with around 65 years of experience and an ever-expanding range of nom noms. When it comes to buying frozen chicken, Birds Eye is usually the brand I go for, knowing it'll be good quality and at least reasonably healthy with no nasties. The Chicken Fingers come in a rectangular box weighing 250g, containing 10 fingers of chickeny goodness. The ...  Read the complete review

Birds Eye Chicken Fingers: tasty fingers (357 words)

I hadn't heard of these until my younger daughter said she'd tried them & really enjoyed the taste. As she's still a fussy eater (at 18!) I bought some as she's often difficult to shop for. I'm pretty sure the RRP is around £1.49 for a box of 10 chicken fingers but Tesco had them on offer last week for just £1. They are packed in a substantial box but the one I have is slightly different to the one shown by Dooyoo - it has a picture of them served with sweetcorn, carrots & broccoli - presumably to give the impression of a healthy meal. The fingers are neatly packed inside & look exactly like fish fingers. They have a bright orange ...  Read the complete review
