Advantages: Yummy; Can be used in the same ways as fish fingers

Disadvantages: A bit dry

I've never seen these Chicken Fingers before so don't know if they're new or not, I brought them for my little sisters dinner because I wanted something that was quick and easy to cook and also something she could feed herself because I was mega busy.

They are just like fish fingers only made with chicken. You can use them in all the same ways as fish fingers too including eating them with chips or a jacket potato and they are also very nice with gravy over them.

I preferred mine with gravy actually because I think they are a bit dry when you cook them in the oven, you can fry them too but I don't like fried food much and deffo won't cook my sisters food like that. I reckon they might not dry up so much if you do them in the frying pan but the batter would soak loads of oil up.

The batter is nice, I thought it was going to be breadcrumbs but the chicken fingers are coated in that bubbly batter than a lot of the food brands are using at the minute. That's good because it means the outside goes nice and crispy while it's cooking, the batter reminds me of the batter on the crispy chicken fillets you can buy but it's not as crunchy as that.

The chicken fingers are made from 100% breast meat and the chicken tastes mega natural. It's got a bit of a fresh taste and I can taste salt in the chicken as well, the meat is a lot stronger tasting than I thought it would be and tastes proper nice with the batter.

Like I said they're a bit dry on their own, I poured bean juice over my sisters and didn't let her have the ends of the chicken fingers because I was scared she would choke with them being so hard and dry. It's the chicken that's dry more than anything though but that's the same sometimes even with a piece of fresh chicken, I had mine with mash and gravy and it was yummy like that.

You can also put these on a sandwich just like fish fingers and put some ketchup on it, my chicken finger butty was delish and I reckon that's actually the best way to eat them!

I only paid £1.00 for this box of 10 chicken fingers and I think that's a good price for Birds Eye, that was in Tesco and was some sort of special offer but I didn't notice the proper price.

Summary: A Nice Change From Fish Fingers And Wicked In A Butty Too!
