      A great buy!

One night me and the boyfriend were wandering around my local Asda store looking for inspiration of what to have for our tea when we spotted these on offer at £2.00 a box of 2 instead of more like usually costing about £3.00 a box. We fancied them and so we got them and couldn't wait to fry up our own chips and get the mushy peas cooked!

      The Packaging:

The box is cardboard with a photograph of the fish on the front of it and we are told that it is Extra Large, 2 Fish Fillets In Crispy Batter 'Birds Eye' and there is an at a glance nutritional chart shown. Other information listed on the box includes being told a bit about the fish, ingredients and allergy advice is given as well as a full nutritional chart and cooking instructions given (25 minutes in the oven) and contact details for Birds Eye are given.

      The Fish Itself:

Well these are very large, thick fillets and evenly covered in golden batter. These are simple to cook and when cooked the batter goes crispy and light and this is light in fragrance and not too fishy.

Made from flaky Alaskan Pollock Fillets and containing no artificial colours, flavours or preservatives this is simply great quality fish and me and my boyfriend loved it! The Pollock tastes fresh and moist and there are no bones or skin within it at all and its a brilliant white in colour. The batter is as I have said really crispy and well seasoned and clings to the fish well and isn't too flaky and all in all I have no quibbles with this product! Its yummy fish and filling and providing you like Pollock you should love it as there is nothing to dislike lol.
