 ... isn't the most appetising looking food item, the only thing I can think to compare it to is a damp looking rawhide dog chew but I can forgive the awful appearance because it smells so good! It has a rich BBQ aroma which makes this bar smell very much like the authentic beef jerky I found myself eating most days in Canada. Biting into this bar I think it is absolutely delicious. I am a big meat lover and when I spent some time in Canada I discovered Beef Jerky which is thin strips of fatless, flavoured and dried beef. When I returned to the UK I tried in vain to source a decent affordable Beef Jerky but it meant travelling too far afield and spending far too much money on what is basically a snack for in front of the tele. Just last week however I discovered a product made by Jack Links called a BBQ Steak Bar which promised to be a snack sized bar of Beef Jerky with a BBQ flavour.
