 ... the sausage with a knife where I wanted it and pulled it out of the packaging. Then I put the remaining bit of sausage in a container and back in the fridge to use again in a couple of days. The smell of the sausage is no different to the other varieties, there was no smell of garlic, nothing to say that it was the garlic sausage in the pack and not one of the others in the wrong pack. I have previously tried the mattessons normal smoked sausage and low fat smoked sausage and when I saw that Asda were doing these on offer for 2 for £2.50 thought I would pick up a couple of packs as standbys in the fridge to make a plain tomato pasta sausage a bit more interesting. I love garlic and as I hadn't tried the garlic version picked up one of these as part of the offer. As with the other mattessons sausages it comes in a foil packet with the sausage in a shrink wrapped plastic container inside.
