These Chicken And Mushroom Pies from Morrisons are the WORST I've ever eaten, to be fair I got the chilled pie that was individually wrapped but you can get Morrisons pies frozen, from the deli and in all different sizes. One of them might be a bit better than the pie I had but I doubt it because none of the pies I've ever brought from Morrisons have been any good and I don't know why I brought this one in the first place! lol

It takes about 20 mins to cook in the oven but you need to watch because the pastry burns dead quick if you leave it in even for a minute too long.

It's like a soft pastry case with a flakey puff pastry top, the top doesn't rise much but it went a nice golden brown while it was cooking and smelled ok when I took it out.

I knew there wasn't going to be much filling because the pie felt proper light when I held it in my hand and looked proper puny after it had been cooked. I was still shocked when I cut into it though and saw that there wasn't hardly any chicken or mushrooms in the pie and most of the filling was just a thick grey looking sauce. It looked stickey and definately was because it stuck to the knife when I cut it! lol

There was about 6 very small chunks of chicken in the pie and when I finally found a mushroom I saw they were cut proper small and was a bit slimey feeling. They still tasted of mushrooms though but that wasn't all that good either because I thought the mushrooms had got a bit of a fake taste that didn't do anything for the pie.

The sauce was dead bland and made me feel a bit sick after a couple of mouth fulls, I think that was because of the sticky thick feel to it and I didn't like it at all.

Not recommended...... disgusting!!!
