Advantages: Nice to make sandwiches

Disadvantages: None

For people who read my reviews regular will know I love my food and snack a lot and my wife was shopping in Sainsbury's recently and was looking for something cheap for snacking and she saw this Ham and thought she would buy it as it was very cheap.

It comes in a plastic container with a pull off plastic top, and with the orange and white basic colours of their lower ranged of products and for only £1.38 for 400g it is an amazing price and there are 30 square slices of ham.

Each slice is quite thin and they are a good size of approximately 6 inches x 6 inches, which is a good size for using for sandwiches.

The texture is smooth and soft and it can be easily chewed and it is good for making sandwiches and they are ideal for packed lunches for school or work.

The taste is very good for the low price and I thought they would taste bland but they are perfectly fine, although the higher brands of Ham taste much better but for anyone on a low budget and have a large family, I think these are ideal for saving money.

The amount is a very good amount for the price and one pack can easily be used for a week of packed lunches, depending on how many people are using them.

I have halved the pack and frozen one half as my wife tends to freeze everything and they have been perfectly fine when defrosted.

I have eaten these with mustard on the top in sandwiches to give it that little bit of extra flavour and they have tasted delicious, and mayonnaise is ideal too or any dressing that suits your taste buds.

Each slice contains 12 calories, 2.1g protein, 0.4g fat, 0.1g saturates and a trace of fibre.

I do recommend them for anyone to give them a go and for the very cheap price I think they are excellent value for money.

I rate this product 5 stars.

Summary: Good value and price
