      Advantages

      Disadvantages

The meat is of excellent quality, without any jelly or fat.

I buy Corned Beef Basics which are found on the fresh packet meat area. Each pack has eight thick slices for one pound and fifty four pence. Each slice therefore weighs fifty grams and costs under twenty pence per slice. One slice is exactly right for a nice thick sandwich. Each slice has a hundred and fourteen calories. The meat is of excellent quality, without any jelly or fat. In fact I think it is better than the normal range.....BRILLIANT!!! As well as eating it cold it makes excellent toasted sandwiches. For this I use the bags you can buy in Poundland, which are two bags for a pound. You can toast them in an ordinary toaster and thus avoid the mess that gets caused when using a sandwich maker. I have a slight reservation about the labelling because where it says 'Country of Origin' it then says 'Packed in United Kingdom'. That does not tell me where the beef is from. I do not really care where, but it irritates me to be misleading.
