Advantages: A nice flavourful snack or part of a full meal, ready in the time it takes to make a cup of tea.

Disadvantages: Not as easy to find as alternatives, nothing else under this brand that I have found.

There is a lot of variety around when it comes to snack food, and a lot competition from various companies for your purchases. Whether is Rustlers, Snack Express, Snacksters, Micro Pizza's, Ginsters pies or whatever, there is always a huge choice. Personally, Im a cheeseburger. I'm not ACTUALLY a cheeseburger, but my preference for a quick snack is a nice cheeseburger, and have no doubt, the Snack express brand ARE nice cheeseburgers.

There is an old stigma around microwave meals that they're poor quality, the microwave burgers always have the 'Taste like rubber' stigma attached. Now I don't know about you, but I've never wanted to try eating rubber even for the sake of making such a comparison, and lets be honest, really, if you saw someone you knew actually eating rubber then I think a swift trip in padded van to a nice padded cell would likely be in order.

In truth, there is a somewhat valid reason for the whole 'taste like rubber' stigma to still permeate around microwave burgers. If you have ever stopped to feel the texture of the patty, they ARE quite springy, almost like rubber, and the flavours have been...less than stellar to put it mildly. However the Snack Express brand is different. These burgers taste good, really good, on their own add the bun, some cheese maybe a bit of salad and some ketchup and they become absolutely delightful. There's no other way to describe it.

Its tough describing the flavour of a cheeseburger, you either like them or you don't its up to you. However, for those of you who DO like cheeseburgers, whether they're your main food intake, a favoured snack, an occasional treat, or whether you like having them because you are always on the go, then these are a great option. Tastier than the competitors the pricing is pretty much even at around the £1.30 mark in my local Tesco. In my local Asda the Snacksters brand are £1 and the Rustlers between £1.30 and £1.40. Considering the difference is only a matter of pence, the superior quality of the Snack Express always wins out for me.

There is only 1 complaint I have, and its not to do with the product itself, rather, I'm thinking that a lot of other people also prefer these burgers as they can be quite difficult to find as my local Tesco doesn't give them a great deal of shelf space. Also, I can never find any other product in this brand, and I would love to find some Snack Express chips to try them to see if I can have a nice swift meal for those days I'm on the go, rather than just a snack.

Summary: If you like Cheeseburgers, but are concerned with the 'rubber taste', try these. you'll be surprised
