... packaging this is. The Prawn Skewers: What you get is 8 small wooden skewers each with 2 king prawns on them. To cook them you have to take them out their original packet and into the oven for between 13-15 minutes. The prawns are slightly pink when the go in the oven and visibly are coated in a sauce/marinade that is an orangy colour. They cook very really well in 13 minutes and the sauce they are in goes into the prawn making them very succulent indeed so you not really left with any sauce/marinade it disappears. ...more

Tonight I popped to Tesco as I needed to fill my freezer up pretty badly. Being on a tight budget I was looking mainly for shops own products or things on offer etc when I stumbled across these sweet chilli prawn skewers on offer from usually £2.00 a box to only a pound and I thought that they were a bargain so I actually grabbed a couple of boxes of them as I adore prawns and seafood in general The Packaging: The skewers come in a see though plastic packet and in a box. Our local Tesco was selling all their summer frozen food off just before Xmas, I reckon they'd found a warehouse size freezer full that they'd forgotten about because there was loads of stuff that they'd reduced big time. Tesco price reductions are usually crap, the reduced meat usually only goes down by a few pennies so I remember being shocked that these were marked up for £2.00 but had been reduced to 49p a box! You cook them from frozen and they can be done on the bbq or under the grill.... we've still got ice in Birmingham so it was deffo the grill for us! lol They don't look all that nice frozen and you only get 2 prawns on each skewer. ...  Read the complete review

Well that's the idea anyway. The day we decided to have a BBQ started out nice and sunny, but with the typical British weather being so changeable we ended up getting the ...  Read the complete review
